I come to your channel to view games I'm interested in, see if they are for me and be entertained and you nail all three categories. Not only that but you do this without any negativity or bashing. If a game has a flaw it is pointed out but you never bash them or degrade them and I think that is very important. Nowadays it seems reviewers are critics and not actually gamers. Anyways thank you. I didn't knew this game at all and i have to admit i am quite impressed by it, the gameplay looks amazing, the DA is very good, a lot of attention to detail, ... if we can fall in love with a game then i think i am :p

Nice! I got the email from steam about this early access release about an hour before this video went up. It's $17.99 on sale right now so I was on the fence about getting it but this convinced me to go for it.

This game is really good and you can tell love went into this game and I am hyped where they choose to take it. It's implied they want to do more starting towns and how it's set up adding new gear mobs or missions / unlocks would be fairly easy. Making adding to the game vary easy compared to some other games.

I was on the fence about getting this, but once again Splat you made the decision easy.

Nice to see Splat doing fine work in defending the Nerdcastle.

Since attacks are based on weapons, I found it really useful to forgot about the preset 'roles' and get a second weapon for everyone. First thing I typically get is a bow for the fighter.

I really enjoyed the game Subtle encouragement to implement the various types of damage. For example, say you target and enemy with the long bow, but it will do 50 percent more damage if there are no adjacent enemies. Or momentum adds a percentage to certain attacks which adds 10 percent damage per tile traveled. Combining these different stats is totally satisfying when you finally start dealing massive amounts of damage and complete the game with a near perfect score.

I love this game its really hard though. i haven't been able to get past wave 2

the undead horde surrounds us and our end is near, but still this bow is going to cost you 50 gold.

I saw this, brought the game and been change smoking this baby ever since. Good game.

I know this was before you played it more but the sword with range upgrades is stupid fun. Makes them so easy to use. Also there is more basic "I walk up and melee aoe" with the hammer and stuff so there is different kinds of weapons just I feel the sword is the best for the early game when there is not as many zombies running around compared to the always aoeing hammer that rarely gets good muti hits till later.

that poison skill on the archer is class. 1 AP and guaranteed something with 120 HP will die 3rd turn. Applied first round of a fight, It'd let you be able to focus on other zombies because looking at it, it takes 3 rounds for the zombies to get into the town, save the runners. but still, poison softens up the zombies for others to pick off with multi hits.

I started a project to develop a game weeks ago in my free time that in some years would look a lot like this one

Yeah just beat it and unlocked the second difficulty settings I want more, differrent levels and more final bosses. I found it to be most effective to focus on poison damage with daggers and orbs. Put a semi range weapon on your melee focused character. It take about 20 nights to upgrade to a point where you reach night 7. Really depends on how use your production phase. I found focusing on gold mines to Max level as soon as possible gives you room to breathe. Once over gotten a 4th warrior (night 5 or 6), you can push the mist back with a Seer building, then it's smooth sailing. Beaten first on run 30. Never completed night 9, but when I finally did. I progressed to completion. Buy potions for the last night, especially health and Strength and focuse damage on the 4 Boss spawns. Final boss was almost too easy because my warriors were dealing 1900 damage a turn.

Splattercat sells me more games then steam does....

Reminds me so much of They Are Billions. Especially after I played the Steam Fesitval demo the other year. One of the few games I don't mind the difficulty. And the bigger waves later are so panic inducing when they never seem to end.

Looks promising since They are Billions. Randomized isekai last stand style game.

I find using the face plugging strat is legit. Using a char to face tank a single foe by plugging a gap. It can be hairy letting them taking more then one attack but most chars with like 6 block, 8ish resist and 20 armor will nearly block all damage from a single attack from a basic zombie. Melee does double damage to armor so I like to float at lest 40 even on my ranged only chars just so I can make them plug a gap when need be.

See, now that is a good story, when magic is real and you see all the disasters it can cause, you probably would want to destroy it too, makes perfect sense that story, you can't have some rando summoning fireballs, raising the undead, or summoning demons or whatever.
