Could there be a season 2? Of course it might happen. This show was NOT created to actually be liked by Star Wars fans. It was created to subvert the fans and tear-down the lore of Star Wars. We all reacted EXACTLY as we were predicted to react. This was intentional and everything played out according to Lucasfilm's plan. Acolyte = Mission accomplished.

Look, I don’t mind anyone who defends what they like. As long as it’s real and from the heart, not some political ideology. If he honestly likes Acolyte then he should defend it as forcefully as he wants🤷‍♂️ I thought Acolyte, like most all Disney Star Wars, excluding Mandalorian and Andor, was pure shite purely based on the writing, acting, and production. Thats an honest opinion from my heart. The acting was as bad as the writing - sorry - but even Lee Jung Jae was bad. Not Amandla Stenberg level bad, but bad nonetheless. Honestly, the best acting was the Bazile character🦫 Episode 1 had promise. I actually started enjoying the show and thought “wow - this is gonna be awesome!” but it wasn’t long after that I smelled the very familiar stench of “Disneyfication”. Right now, I’m rewatching the original trilogy, episodes 4-6. A New Hope was the only medicine to cure my depression. May the Force be with us ALL.
