Dang last race of the season is always hard. I am a sophomore that lives in GA and I wanted to get a 17:15 at state but ran a 19:46 there is no excuse for that so now I have dedicated my offseason training to make me stronger mentally so that never happens again. But watching KZfaqrs like you and Zach levet have helped me get through the thought times. Like the way you train, eat, and sleep. One day I want to have accomplished what you all have and make it somewhere in life. Keep up what you are doing and never stop makes these videos because evertime you upload one it changes someone’s life , like it has changed mine. We need more KZfaqrs out there like you. Never give up Ps. You think we can go in a run sometime 😂🏃🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ Sincerely -Mohammed Ibrahim (aka MO)

Big fan Spencer! Stared watching your channel shortly before you hit 10K followers because my son is a HS distance runner and I thought what better way to get a glimpse inside a day in the life of a D1 college distance runner. Well, who would have guessed that just a couple weeks ago my son was contacted by G'town and we're coming out for an official in mid January! Hopefully we'll get to meet when we come out...

I run on that course 2-3 times a season as a high school runner in Indiana.... and My god is it a hard course. 1st K downhill, everything else is uphill. Challenging course and a slower one then most, don't be too worried about it not being the greatest race ever, it rarely is for anyone! :D

Hi, so I need help. Im a cross country runner whose coming off of my 2 week break and I'm wondering when I start to do light intervals for my base period, what time trial would I need to do in order to accurate paces. Do i need to do a mile, 2 mile, etc time trial? Keep in mind that I'm primarily a 800/1600m guy who can go up to 3200 and go down on a 4x4000 relay. How often should I do one? Should it just be once for my base period or every couple of weeks? Also, I'm more of a speed based distance athlete with my best event being the 800m (including 5k/xc).Any help?

img.runningwarehouse.com/pdf/middle_distance_guide.pdf It's hard to write a cookie cutter guide for all runners but this is as close as it gets. Read through it to get a rough idea of how you should be handling your progressions from season to season.
