John & Edward have become what Simon Cowell said they couldnt be ~ ie: serious artists with serious musical talent. Their enthuisiasm & sheer determination to have fun no matter what was just the tonic the nations needed during austerity, and now here they are helping everyone get through even more difficult & troubling times. For still being around in a very fickle music industry after all these years is worthy of higher praise than from a simple mechanic. All best wishes to you both.

Jedward are not a known quantity in America, but we have KZfaq , and after binge watching the X-Factor BECAUSE OF Jedward, (they really were robbed in getting further) I really began to love them as just people. I was astounded at the amount of vitriol directed at such young people during the run of the show! I've never seen such 50/50 love/hate. But I was on the love side for their incredibly thick skin, their resilience in the face of vocal derision, but especially their natural charisma. How could you not begrudgingly respect them. Now look how smart and beautiful the've become as young men. As a long time fan of REM, I thought they did an excellent delivery of this classic. Strangely more intimate than the original. Very impressed. I hope Jedward have a long, beloved career in UK entertainment as strong as Ant and Dec. (yea, I'm an american who knows who they are!)

I've done a complete 180 on Jedward. Absolutely hated them on the X Factor years ago, and yet now, I'm one of their biggest supporters. Their music isn't for me; I'm 50, and it's not really designed for my demographic, but I LOVE how they've used their platform for good, in a dark world. And actually, they've got much better musically, as their recent releases show.

Wow never heard of them until today (from US) and they sound so nice have grown so much

These boys have matured so much since their X-Factor debut. I used to think of them being so obnoxious but they were also so young back in the day. I must give Louis Walsh credit for seeing potential in these young men when very few people would not give them a chance. Good for them and I wish them well.
