Deokjin Kim
Director of the IT Communication Research Institute, CSO of AI3, Professor of Computer and AI Engineering at Sejong Cyber University, and Adjunct Professor at Kyunghee University Graduate School of Media and Communication.
Deokjin Kim founded the IT Communication Research Institute to focus on making complex IT technologies and business structures accessible and engaging to the public. He coined the term "IT Communicator" and has built a reputation as an IT expert panelist on various mainstream news and radio programs for over 10 years.
He currently hosts regular segments on shows such as MBC's "Economy in Your Hands," KBS2TV's "Economy Concert," KBS1 Radio's "All the Information in the World," and "Newsletter K." He is one of South Korea's most frequent AI experts on TV, particularly regarding ChatGPT and generative AI.
At Sejong Cyber University, he teaches courses such as "Interesting AI World Travel," "Understanding Big Data and Generative AI," and "AI Text Analysis." At Kyunghee University, he lectures on AI and digital marketing at the graduate level. He is in high demand as a lecturer on AI, big data, and new media for various corporations and local governments. Recently appointed as the CSO of AI3, he is researching the intersection of generative AI and Web3 technologies.
His best-selling books include "AI 2024: Trends & Applications," "Humans Are Being Erased," and "Reading the World Through AI."
Seungwan Seo
Prompt Engineer, CEO of Yumeta Lab
Seungwan Seo is the CEO of Yumeta Lab and Director of AI3 Prompt Research Lab. As a first-generation prompt engineer in South Korea, he founded "Prompt Engineer Korea (PPEKR)" to expand and standardize the domestic prompt ecosystem. He developed the AI writing service "TOSSII" and the prompt-sharing platform "GPTable," and has provided education and consulting to numerous companies and organizations, including Samsung, LG, SK, and LINE.
Seungwan studied coding from a young age, winning awards in the Korean Olympiad in Informatics (KOI), and later majored in philosophy to build a theoretical foundation for the convergence of technology and humanities. During his master's program, he created YUMC, South Korea's first metaverse campus, which gained significant international attention from media outlets such as the BBC and the Hong Kong Economic Times.
His major publications include "Prompt Engineering Textbook," "New Jobs Triggered by ChatGPT: Prompt Engineer," and "I Decided to Live in the Metaverse."
