Welcome aboard to the 2024 Honda Civic Sport. At around $25K with options, you get a little 2.0L N/A 4 Cylinder with 158 Hp and a CVT, but you get some great safety tech, LED headlights, all of the physical buttons you could ever need, and even a semi-digital gauge cluster! Overall, this is nice little budget sedan that competes nicely with the VW Jetta and Toyota Corolla.

I've watched a few reviews for this car, I really like this one best. Well spoken, touched on everything with enough detail without going too in depth. I like that you explained differences between trims. Nice natural segues and smooth camera work. Great job!

My biggest issue with the car is the fact that it doesn’t have power seats. For a car that is priced at $26,000, it is really disappointing that you will only get manual seats.

This is a econobox car not a luxury vehicle. Everything is basic in this car starting at the engine.

This is the Honda Civic to get because the 1.5T engines have massive oil dilution problems. So far the 2.0T engines haven't shown to have this issue nearly as often and the 2.0L N/A powering this vehicle from what I've read isn't anticipated to have this issue.

@@1Springloaded considering how prevalent it is for vehicles that are still mostly under 50k miles...yea...it's only going to get worse. 30k mile civics with 1.5T engines blowing head gaskets due to faulty sealing, oil dilution and then other less serious fit and finish issues...this ain't the Honda of the 90s, very concerning stuff. For those reasons this is the best Civic to get if you're going to get any modern Civic and care about reliability

valve gaske leak to on the 2.0. Which is a half hour fix. No longer made in Japan and you get this. CVT IS made in Mexico. Not sure I would recommend this over a Corolla unless you want stick.

Great review. I agree it should have at least driver side power seats and heated front seats. The good thing is that you can easily add after market heated seats for about 300.00. Well worth it if you live in the NE…..and from what I hear the after market heated seats are better than factory !!!

Mine ridesike a truck. Maybe they left the blocks in the springs. I miss my Corolla. Edit. After 600 miles or so the car settled down substantially. Maybe a break in period. But also came to the realization that those low profile tires must always have the recommended air for the best ride. Lol that could mean adding air often especially in the winter.

I just don’t like that the ex got a smaller engine than the sport (horsepower) wouldn’t that run the engine more?

One of the best small sedans on the planet. This color and the Aegean blue look fantastic in person. It bothers me that Honda has eliminated the engine temp. gauge in the instrument cluster on many of its vehicles and replaced by an IDIOT light. Come on Honda, how cheap can you get?

It’s just an econobox vehicle, cheap paint that chips easily, small engine, cheap carpet. Apple car play but no wireless. No engine temperature gauge or oil pressure. This is the 2nd trim level up expect out the door to be around $40,000. MSRP, delivery charge, market adjustment fee, office fees, registration fee, tax fee, extras fees, extended warranty, interest on finance fee.

No thanks on anything with a belt/chain design CVT, regardless of automaker. Plus, the Civic (& modern Honda vehicles in general) has "stodgy" styling/design, to put it as nicely as possible.

@hatred6021Only certain hybrids have a no-belt/chain design "eCVT". All other CVT's are a push/pull belt or chain design of some kind (& budget garbage).

@hatred6021 Only EV-hybrids can utilize a eCVT (no belt or chain) design. All regular (full) ICE vehicles use some form of push/pull belt/chain design CVT if they are using a CVT transmission.

The Honda and Toyota CVT’s are actually very good. My 2017 CRV is as smooth as silk. But you must be an absolute beast on maintenance. Oil change every 5000 miles and transmission fluid change every 30,000 miles without fail. I have 110,000 miles on my CRV. “Knock on wood” but so far I have had ZERO issues. Normally I would trade in at 100,000 miles but Due to the price of a new car, I will run it 200,000 miles!!!! But if you really hate a CVT, get the sport with the 6 speed. That car will last 300,000 and even 400,000 miles!!!!
