I think that, given time, the Spurs trade of pick 8 for 2030 and 2031 picks will be seen as the best move. Dillingham wouldn't even be a lottery pick in a good draft class and they got 2 unprotected firsts. We've never seen anything like that. Minnesota, with the worst cap situation and the second worst draft pick situation in the league, is a prime candidate to be bad in 2030/31.

@@grantrobinson8179 Could very well be true. You obviously hope MN is still rolling with Ant by then but regardless, having an extra first at that point could get you an extra good role player when Wemby is in his prime!

@@_AVC_ I hope so. I like Minnesota and I like stars playing on smaller market teams. Cap issues make it seem inevitable that they lose 2 of Towns/Reid/Gobert in the near future, as well as Conley. Without draft picks, they will have to hit on Dillingham/Shannon and find creative ways to add talent going forward. The team is kind of built for 2 morr years and a rebuild.

@@grantrobinson8179 I tend to agree with that. The window of this core is certainly dwindling. I don’t worry about the cap as much nowadays. Once you have the players it’s set up for you to keep em. But yeah in this case Rudy just gets old haha.

Beasley is a nice signing for the Pistons. Thought he would get a bigger/longer contract (Max Christie type deal), but I guess this gives him a chance at an expanded role and potentially a bigger contract next season.

@@Channel45-wn9of A lot of these middle level guys won’t get quite as much with the new cap structure. Just an adjustment period haha. He’s a great pickup though for sure!

Blazers getting Avdija, Deni is a winner, and I really like Pistons signing Simone Fontecchio, hope knicks can turn Randle in Zubac and Terence Mann or Lopez and Portis

I appreciate the shout out Detroit depth chart should be Jalen Duren / Isaiah Stewart Tobias Harris / Simone Fontecchio Ausar Thompson / Ron Holland Malik Beasley / Tim Hardaway Jr / Wendell Moore Jr Cade Cunningham / Jaden Ivey / Marcus Sasser Detroit still have 25+ mil in cap space and are expected to make more moves, but that's 10x better than last year.

@@_AVC_ Oh yeah, they're still bad. Bottom 5 for sure, but they're not historically bad, and Cade will have space to operate and develop properly now.

@@_AVC_ Definitely they can, with George, either Martin or Oubre and Gordon with Embiid/Maxey tandem their starting 5 can go toe to toe with the Celtics...the depth may be an issue but they look way better than last season now Is there any good defensive SGs available for Denver on minimum or MLE?

@@johnnykeane9633 First that come to find are Gary Trent, Lonnie Walker, and Javonte Green. I think the Celtics still have a pretty clear edge but the gap is closing!
