They are only concerned about bets or transactions that are consistently winning because the system isn't designed for that. He’s actually wrong though. Casino does care if you’re losing at a higher rate than normal. I guarantee their outlier algorithm catches that too and sends out comp cards for their restaurant or hotel or gifts out X amount of dollars of free play. They want the bad players who lose at higher volumes to keep coming back.

This is typical “fall guy” BS. It’s a certifiable guarantee that this is going on all over the league from small players to starters and the NBA needs to pin it on someone to look proactive. This was all foreseeable and that makes it 10x worse. I’m pretty sure betting is either gonna have to be taken away or else the feds will inevitably intervene once it becomes too obvious. Prop bets shouldn't be allowed for players that make less than $10 mil/yr or have total contracts under $25 mil. It'd solve the problem. At that threshold, there won't be too many shenanigans people can pull on either the player side or the coaching side.
