Alistair Begg exhorts us to trust God, living “the Jesus way”: loving our enemies. Far too often, Christians are known for hatred and vitriol rather than for robust love. If we practice selflessness instead, we will leave an enduring impact on the culture far beyond what political power or fleeting relevance can accomplish.

A cloudy Sunday morning day 4 of August 2024. Two siblings passed away in 2 years. One sister remains. Our father still alive. I love my sister. I pray for her well being. I do love her. We don't have much more in common.

Opened my eyes and now I’m praying for an open heart. In answer to your question, yes, I do wonder whether or not I am a Christian at times. Then, I feel the hand of God assuring me to keep seeking Him with a willing heart.

what a word for 2021! To love others as Jesus does ~ it does give one reason to pause and think on these things.

Everytime I listen to one of your sermons I am further convicted of my Christianity. It's a wee bit stingy! Here I learn again the great command. Yes love others as ourselves, but more, love, no boundries, our enemies. Yes! Here tonight I am questioning my Christian self & am further admonished to re-examine & re-new my belief of Jesus kind of love!
