According to her interview in stylish, this is her favorite line. Not only this is funny, it also tell us about how shy she is in contrast to her on screen personas. Which i find very relatable. She is truly a gem of snl and one of the best comedian out there. Love ya Kristen!

Doneese is genius. Well played Wiig. No one can ever not laugh at Doneese. This character just grows and grows beyond SNL. The head, the hands, the tooth, the voice,. Add the script and pow! Classic. Like all classic funny stuff.. it just gets funnier each time you see it.

@@ellystripes oh really? I knew she at least partially grew up in a Rochester suburb, Brighton, cause that was right next to mine. But looking at Wikipedia I see she’s from originally from Canandaigua (town on the finger lake of the same name). cool!

Ha! This is a parody of a squeaky clean, old style show that was on US TV for many years. Grandparents loved it. Kids hated it. If you look for The Lawrence Welk Show, you'll see how perfect this parody was.

@@Tracymmo I vaguely remember liking the show as a young kid but losing interest in it as a teenager. That, plus they tried to keep up with the changing times, which lost a lot of their older viewers without attracting the younger ones.
