What's funny about this sketch was what I found out in the Commentary they did this in Scotland the real family of Robert Scott was in the audience but they enjoyed the sketch knowing that there was no malice behind it

listen to the commentary again. Mark describes a "commotion" in the gallery when they performed the sketch, Scott's family later complained and as a result Mark donated £1000 to them as an apology. This doesn't seem like the response of people who "enjoyed the sketch knowing there was no malice behind it"

God damn it. They took a very depressing and harrowing subject/story and turned it into a League sketch I actually, really don't know how I feel about this one. Of course, it could be because freezing to death is my second biggest fear.

Little did I realise watching this, DVD 📀 in 2001 that my future wife would also possess a fanny like a bear trappers hat.
