Funny thing is even if Kindred is only a spirit of death, it is said that EVERYTHING even ASol is fated to meet them Plus ASol had a very fun interaction with old Liandri's where he goes "If Bard and Kindred can pull a mask off so can I !"

Well...akshually, isn't there other worlds like In space Where Targon went with their portals? So other Grim Reapers could exist in the space So who's gonna take ASol's soul if he leave Runeterra (probably not Kindred because Runeterra would be no more...this guy has a bunch of hate inside of him for this world)?

@@loop1789 Riot confirmed. EVERYTHING meets Kindred. It's kind of a paradox. That's why they are the most powerful death spirit because everything meets them and everything meets them because they are the most powerful death spirit. Plus I think death isn't bound to a planet especially since ASol mentions Kindred when talking about other celestials (IMO Riot has been doing Kindred dirty in the lord with characters coming back from the dead and there being other death spirits for other regions and overall vague lore. Idk why they did that)

@@NCognito Isn't the most logical explanation the simple idea that Kindred (Wolf and Lamb) are simply the way this Uber Death Spirit-God manifests in the context of League because that's where the game is set? It's an ancient absurdly conceptual entity, It doesn't Need to be a single individual with a single way of existing.

Until LoR ruined that perspective and now Kindred isn't even the only spirit of death and that such spirits of death are limited to runeterra regions instead of being some primordial force

One thing I do wanna note is that, in my opinion, Ekko's theme is when the music team truly begin to go completely crazy with the music, and even after all these years, I still remember the release material for Ekko due to the incredible song he has

Kindred has to be one of my favourite champion designs, they and Renata are the reason I stuck with the game The Grim Reaper splitting himself into two so he's never alone again is so perfectly Dark Fairy Tale and I love it

Basically, rek'sai was a strong duelist, and her ultimate made her a terrifying jungler in pro play, since she was essentially everywhere at once, because she could tp to everywhere so long as she had a tunnel. Think of a tf ult on a xin zhao

In season 5, with the Ganplank rework event, GP became my favorite champion of all time. I love all of him, and this video made me remember my first time playing with him. Love this types of videos, hopefully you do more Nicky, and take us throught memory lane.

I started playing in S1 and I forgot how much came out during s5. I love these videos because it gives me a flash back moment to when some of these events happened. I remember playing with some of my friends in college during that aram event. You got to chose your icons and who you wanted to "side" with much like the three sisters event. It was so nice, I wish they did more stuff like that.

Nickys videos are unironically part of why I started league. It came down to 4 factors. Necrits lore tier list absolutely enthralled me. Thescore esports videos that showed the pro scene captivated me. And finally nicky's 2020 and 2021 rewind were videos that I rewatched for absolutely no reason multiple times. The fourth was bc I bought my pc and then broke my wrist and couldn't input enough for shooters lol. Wasd hurt me. Tl;Dr Ty for the great content boi

This was probably my favorite season, ngl. Hot off the last year which was already great, I got my main in Rek'Sai, one of my fav champs to play in Bard was released, burning tides was so much fun and memorable, the Fiora rework came out the day after my birthday, and Kindred having my favorite theme in all of league. It's like the whole season was catered to my tastes. Good times~ Great video Nicky. Brought back some good memories

love the tf2 references. Bard and Kindred are in my personal top 5 champs (the others being Camille, Thresh and Xayah, with honourable mentions going out to Braum, Lilia and Zac). Great Design, fun and unique gameplay and ults which are absolutely gamechaning. Tahm Kench is also amazing, although its hard to forget his multiple reigns of terror in toplane. Least favourite champ out of this bunch would be Fiora I guess, but its not really a passionate hatred. Between Yone, Irelia and Trynda you kind of grow numb to the pain.

As someone who played his first rounds of League in 2016, these rewinds are great to show the in-game history and I love it! Your editing and presenting is really good as well. Looking forward for more. Kindred, even tho I never played her in lol, is probably my favourite of this bunch. Used her a lot in LoR. F*** Fiora. Wish we got more events like you described.

Absolute chaos. Death everywhere at every second. Kill or be killed mentality. Perfection and skill mandated. Aggression dialed up to such a degree that it wasn't uncommon for both teams to be bot lane at all at once. A complete and utter warrior heaven of a hell. Season Five was my _fetish._

When the gankplank event was happening, the local riot games branch in my country organised an IRL event in a gaming bar overnight. We were given free stuff like a Gankplank barrel squisy spongy thing, an envelope with the 3 TF cards and a Silver Serpent big coin made out of metal. I remember winning a t-shirt. I don't know if this was done globally but I think that is my most beloved memory with League and I wish we still had things like that today.

Season rewinds are an amazing concept and you made it entertaining! Big ask/project, but one for every season? I’ve played since post-beta but some current players haven’t been playing since even season 5, but honestly no matter when folks started playing, making a video for each season has the chance to be a nostalgia trip for players such as myself or a gateway to the way League was for newer players. From a viewer standpoint that would be a win-win, but I understand how that would be quite a task for you as the content creator. Anyway, loved the video, love your content, keep it up!

Considering I joined League in Season 5 during the Gangplank event, it's the reason why he and Miss Fortune are my favorite characters in League. It was such an awesome event and I wish we could have something like this once more, the Void Event being the best time to pull that off. Imagine if you had it where Bel'veth would take over the ARAM map and bam, it's been replaced with a void version of it. That'd be so cool.

i remember nemesis draft with a certain amount of fondness, strange as that may sound. it introduced me to zac, who i wound up enjoying quite a bit. also, it's the first time i was able to flex some amount of brain power into a meta. i figured out since everyone was just picking boring-ass tanks for their opponents, one could just pick assassins for the enemy team and stomp them because they couldnt do enough damage to burst down more than like, one or two of your team. won nearly every game of the mode i played after that realization.

This is where it all started for me, Kalista was the first loading screen I ever saw (back when that was a thing), and Rek'Sai was my first champion release. Good times. Also I'm going to have nightmares tonight, because I heard the words "sated" and "devourer" spoken together.

While never my true, true main during my tenure at league, Kindred will forever remain in my heart as one of my most favorite champions and one of the golden children of league that never got their due process. Their splash art, their theme, the dichotomy of the voice work in their lines, their colors, and just how well their lore ties into the ever-growing lore of Runeterra is so much better than it has any right to be. They were the first duo in league that to me felt like a real duo (since this was prior rework nunu and quinn/valor is...well-) and everything but their gameplay showed me that. They're what got me into the jungle role and I actually enjoyed it because of them. Unfortunately their gameplay fell short for the longest time and only just recently did they see some worlds representation in spite of how little it really was. Their mark system makes counterjungling them so easy and hitting that 7 mark threshhold was always painful and not very rewarding to do. I will always love them dearly, but dear god Riot did them dirty.

One thing to help prevent Arthritis coming sooner as a Kalista main, is to bind A key to Player Attack so that you can A to Auto then right click to jump.

For me Season 5 was the point of no return ,:) . At the time Rek´sai was released, this was the moment when I first started playing League. Now looking back, still playing League from time to time, I really enjoyed the fun moments I had with friends. But League today isn´t the game anymore, I once loved so much.
