That guus til was loaned to feyenoord the season before, became club topscorer of that season and went to psv this season. This is his first psv season. Also, 16(!) players left feyenoord in the summer window.

This season has been a strange but very entertaining one so far: - NEC Nijmegen drew seven games in a row and half of their 26 games so far have ended in draws - Volendam looked like they were going to crash out of the league but had a remontada after the WC and now sit in a fairly comfortable 13th place, 9 points above direct relegation - Sparta have been incredible this season and it's good to see the former giants fight for european football instead of relegation - Since Cambuur's 3-0 win against PSV they only managed to win two more games out of 18 and were knocked out of the cup by third tier side De Treffers - Amateur side SV Spakenburg who play in the third tier have made it to the KNVB cup semi finals, beating two eredivisie sides away from home in the process, including a 4-1 win at FC Utrecht. If they somehow manage to beat PSV in the semis and manage to get to the final some problems will arise. Spakenburg has a policy of not playing on sundays due to their Christian roots. The cup final is always played on sunday, and moving the date isn't really an option since that would cause logistical problems. I doubt that Spakenburg will simply refuse to play so they'll probably do everything to get the final to be moved to a day earlier.

I wanna add that the exodus of both Feyenoord and Ajax is way more severe than shown in this video. Ajax lost 8 of their starting 11 players in the summer transfer window, and a ninth in Blind last January, meaning the only players of their core team that are left are Berghuis and Tadic. Feyenoord was in a similar boat, losing a total of 15(!) players during the summer transfer window, of which 7 were regular starters. Both teams had to completely rebuild from the ground up, especially Ajax since their coach also left, and yet still they are 1st and 2nd in the league. Very impressive from both sides

You should do a season review of the Romanian league, where the top 6 go into a championship play off where the regular season points get halfed and the distance between first and fifth is 5 point after that

The Conference League playoffs work as follows: the highest seeded team plays the lowest seeded of the 4 and the other 2 play against each other. There is a home and away leg, the highest seeded team plays at home in the 2nd match. Winners of both games face each other in a 2 legged final (away & home).

I'll try to explain the playoffs to you: The teams in 5th til 8th will face off in a playoff system where the 5th placed team will take on the 8th placed team over 2 legs. Logically, the 6th placed team with take on the team that finished 7th. After 2 legs, the winners of those ties will face each other in, again, 2 legs. The winner of this will find themselves a spot in the 2nd round of the conference league playoffs! Also I understand you thought it was 4th til 7th spot, but due to the amazing performances in europe by the eredivisie teams last season they got another guaranteed CL spot.

The weird thing is: at the bottom of the table it is a madness as well. Groningen doesn't belong there, Emmen is barely surviving, Cambuur is pretty much guaranteed to go down, Excelsior is close to go down, and Volendam is just living above the edge. Very exciting this year
