fear is what fox sells, studies show higher ratings from fear. look at tuckers daily headlines. It seems we're only looking at one side here...The Left points at the Right for talking about the civil war. They're not talking about it doing it themselves, like many on the far-right. I see it everyday in Texas. CNN/MSNBC tries to show how extreme the right is going (for good or bad). Please put that into proper context. Fox relies on you to simply believe them and hopes you don't actually look at opposing views. To be informed, you should do both.. He also seems to ingore a bunch of lies by the "other" side in this. The left doesn't spend a lot of time talking about conservatives, they mostly focus on Trump (who by several definitions is not); are we forgetting all these general attacks on "liberals" featured everyday on fox? Fox is the most divisive thing in the media (that people actually watch; maybe infowars, too). Every single day they exclaim "we are at war for our country." THIS CLIP ITSELF is an attack "on the left." Show more examples. CNN does it. I know they're biased, but you can find the truth comparing the sides. Don't be simple enough to pick left box or right box

I've been watching everything I can find from VDH for the last three years or so. I've even bought two of his books. I have never seen him so angry as I have the last month or so. He is a calm, steady, confident man who has no need to raise his voice. Even here it seems he can barely keep the anger in check. If a guy like him, who is an expert on civilization, war, and the classics, is worried and angered by things we might be in actual trouble. Good luck everyone.

No he is not. He like Jordan Peterson chooses to speak through intentional word salad, a form of propaganda used to manipulate people willing to blame confusion on their own ignorance. If u actually break down each statement he makes, not only r multiple subjects strung together with words u will recognize from media repeating these tag lines aka: sound bites, not only does he create a rhythm of non-sensible talking points, most r out right lies. I would have to write paragraphs to counter each statement he eluded to or implied with in one short response where he was asked a simple question. He gets away with this, again like JP, because many viewers will see their confusion as a symptom of their own ignorance. Instead of calling a spade a spade & labeling this guy what he is, they instead say to themselves ‘I dont understand, but if I keep listening night after night I will learn enough TO understand.’ When in reality, these confused viewers r not ignorant, they r clearly recognizing the fact that his statements fall from one subject to another without any sensible form of communication. In layman terms, no introduction/prelude/hypothesis + factual support leading to a closing statement that summarizes the point. Instead its: Rain blah blah blah Soil blah blah blah Baseball blah blah blah Spaghetti blah blah blah & thats always going to lead democrats who live in glass houses blah blah blah the scorpion & the frog. It is ludicrous to believe without proof that every single Confederate fought to preserve slavery. Besides the South had already been working on gradual emancipation measures. Nathaniel Bedford Forrest offered freedom to those slaves who entered his ranks and fought for a duration of time. The famous Holt Collier (who led the bear to Theodore Roosevelt which would earn the president the nickname "Teddy") was one of Forrest's scouts. Thousands upon thousands of black slaves and former slaves joined the Confederate army which begs the question: why fight if it was all over preserving slavery?

I think a national divorce would be awesome in theory. I would love to live in a country that's free of all these insane socialists and all the degenerates they use as their foot soldiers. But logistically, it just wouldn't be feasible without some drastic measures. Forced migration would likely be a necessity if voluntary migration efforts failed. Also, how would the land be divvied up? There would almost certainly be conflicts over land and resources. There would also need to be some level of cooperation between the two new theoretical countries if we shared the same land mass.

And it was stopped when they tried to come into neighborhoods and armed citizens stopped them. They were pushing to see how far people would let it go. But I get what you mean.

It's a classic 'war of attrition'. On one side they push the envelope as far as they can as often as they can, gradually getting away with more and more violence, robbery, and outright tyranny. While the other side endures; peacefully resisting, but giving up more and more ground every time one of theirs' gets angry enough to fight back- then they are penalized to the max, and more laws are implemented to curtail such future "rebellion". The reason one side is winning, is because they control the institutions. They understand the art of patience, and manipulation, realizing that every year, a new wave of brainwashed political soldiers, fresh out of kindergarten, will join their side as they are taught to be suspicious of their parents, who really never had any desire for their children to get involved in politics, but whom are still required by law to send their children into the "Education" system. The sad truth is that many of these frustrated parents know good and well the lies and poison their children are being corrupted with, but because the laws mandate that they receive at least a certain amount of indoctrination, they are forced to concede, or run the risk of their babies being taken from them. We are in perilous times, indeed.

Maybe it’s that self fulfilling prophecy. They talk non stop about it and keep trying to push more and more decisive policies. Like a kid picking on a scab or a person who keeps kicking a dog instead of saying look this is stupid let me leave the dog alone.

They are the enemies called out in our U.S. military oaths, those of us who took them, long ago (me, '67) or recently. The "foreign" ones, we've had our share of fighting. Now our duty is clear regarding the "domestic enemy" (aka Democrats).
