I finally got around to watching The Leftovers about 2 months back and I have got to say... this show has quickly risen to one of my absolute favorites. It took me so long to get into this show as I didn't have much interest for it when it first came out but I seriously regret not keeping up with this show!! The writing is phenomenal, I don't think there was ever a moment where I was bored watching the show. I just found every character, every story line (especially Kevin's of course) so interesting and intriguing. The pilot had immediately grabbed my attention and I was hooked on spot. And season 2 was an absolute MASTERPIECE...
But, I have got to say that I would have never watched this show if it weren't for the amazing and talented Aneta (Cassaravi).
Her video of the leftovers immediately made me want to watch the show even if I thought i'd never get into it again. And I'm so glad because now I can't stop watching this show and just enjoying every single aspect of it.
I wanted to make a Kevin video ever since I finished the first season, and I had immediately thought of this song. It's funny because I had thought this would work really well with Kevin when I was watching 1x10, and then a few days later I watch 2x02 and I hear "where is my mind" play and my jaw just literally drops because that can not be any more of a perfect match, lol! I really love the original version of this song, but I felt like this one by Emily just fit more with the atmosphere. I just found it more captivating! So I definitely went ahead with the idea and I loved and had so much fun working on this. I wanted to portray Kevin losing his mind but then eventually being able to overcome these problems, and the situations with Patti and how she's destroying his life by messing with his head. Justin Theroux definitely deserves an Emmy after this.... I demand one must be given to him!
With all of that said, I want to dedicate this video to Aneta. I wouldn't have made this video or even watched the show at the time that I did if it weren't for her so this is me giving a big thanks to you, Aneta! I hope you enjoy this, as I know how much you love Kevin!!!

This is amazing. Honestly the fact that this show, and these incredible actors haven't been recognized by the Emmy's is criminal. This show is without a doubt one of the bravest showest on television, and I'll miss it once it's gone, but be happy it existed in the first place, because I'll be able to watch it again from time to time.

Finally I can watch this video! I have not seen such a beautiful work, which is devoted to one character for a long time. He suffered so much. He was crying, angry and screaming, but in the end, he rose to his feet without falling down and not giving up, and coped with all the problems. At the last moment I wanted to cry: -You're home. Amazing and emotional video, my dear Heather! You're perfectly showed Kevin's story in this video! And I'm so in love with this song + original. Excellent choice! I am absolutely delighted by this masterpiece!

This is a truly worthy tribute to the show and to Kevin Garvey. I was sceptical after I have watched season 1, but while I was watching through the second season it became clear that 'The Leftovers' is one of the best tv shows ever. I feel happiness and satisfaction because this show deserve that and many more tributes, although I doubt many video could come close to what you just did because you grabbed the essence of this brilliant character. This show is a rare diamond and you don't let us forget that! Well done! There are so many option to choose from in the world of tv series and that's why only a small group can explore and deeply appreciate the value and hidden message that this show contain. The directing and writing, the acting, the cinematography and the music choice are making a remarkable synthesis between them. Twin Peaks, Lost, Utopia, Black Mirror, Mr.Robot, Fargo, The Leftovers, the weird but "must watch" kinds. Thank you for this!

I've re-watched the show about 3 times now, going on my 4th real soon, but I think that every time I re-watch it, i pick up more details than I had when I first watched it, and that's really cool. Your video got me emotionnal, i'm facing one of the worst time of my life dealing with multiple heavy spine surgeries , i had to quit my job, i'm single , losing friends, feeling alone and not much money to have a descent life either... Alomost 37y old, as a kid, if i would have been told that my life would be like this at my prime, i would have never believed it....sometimes when i feel like i can't take it anymore, i just want to put an end to this nightmare once and for all..... what's the point to keep living when you're heart and soul are suffering that much. Yet i'm still holding on with faith of a better tomorrow, hope....I still have it, but if i lose it, well....today i'm feeling empty as much Kevin is. Anyhow, your video helps, hopefuly the sun will eventually rise again for quiet and lonely souls like me. Thanks for the edit

AND ESPECIALLY ABOUT KEVIN :O The part with all the "fuck" at the beginning is so fucking *epic* omg LMAO I love this song since I heard it on Fight Club and then when I heard it on Blindspot it just became one of my favorite *ever!* The editing is just so amazing and the coloring gets better everytime you upload something LOL wizard coloring plz My favorite part is absolutely 2:26-2:30 :O that whole b&w part is just so perfect! This is the most visually stunning vid I've seen from you. Cuts are so smooth that the entire thing is almost unreal. It's like a dream sequence. Reverse effect is a really nice touch here. You already made me watch SoA and now you're gonna make me watch Leftovers.

And I'm back. I just watched season 2 finale and hooooooly hell... This show is bloody amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you for recommending it! It was so crazy and unpredictable and touching. You can tell Lindelof wrote it: it's the best substitute for a LOST fan with many jaw drops and great character moments. Justin is brilliant as Kevin. And to think we have to wait till 2017 for tha finale... Damn it!

this is too much heather omfggg. I told you I was gonna start this show because of the scream and stuff and I never did, but trust me after this video, I'm starting it. You never fail to make tv shows look so good! 2:25 on made me lose it. I didn't lose it like out loud because I'm in class rn but you know what I mean. like I was saying "HOLY SHIT" in my head, but on the outside I had a straight face:) it's really awkward here:)) anyway, when you told me you were gonna upload a video today I was more than ready:D and I am so happy it was THIS fucking good. this is one of those videos that I'm gonna repeat a bunch of times for the next 2 months or so lmao. OMG HEATHER!!!! This is so brilliantly amazing omfg!!!!!!! There is so much deep emotion and amazing creativity in this video! I absolutely love this whole thing so much! I really can't wait to finish The Leftovers, but Kevin is such a very interesting character and I love the way he carries himself but he struggles so much which you portrayed so perfectly in this video! The song also was a perfect fit and the quote/scene parallels were fantastic! Especially in the beginning with Kevin "losing his mind" and seeing dead people fit perfectly with the theme :) Overall just another amazing video, Heather!

+xHeather360x I just finished it last night.... I am having a hard time gathering my emotions about this show so that I can adequately describe how much I love it. I feel like it's not even a tv show. It's an emotional and spiritual experience. I found myself watching a scene, pausing it & reflecting on it for 5 full minutes before continuing with the episodes. It had me bawling over and over again. Damon Lindelof has truly outdone himself this time. On to your video. This is such a perfect tribute to Kevin's character. I love how it slowly builds and finishes off with that explosive ending. Completely genius as always, Heather. :)

I honestly really love to take my time with shows and savor them episode by episode, but with this one it was really hard for me because every single episode was just perfectly written and executed that I could not even put it down. Not even once. I had finished the second season in literally one day and from there on out I've done almost 4 re-watches - picking up new things and details every single time. It's really amazing and it had quickly risen to one of my absolute favorites. I've never seen anything like it before, wow! And aww thank you so much, Lauren!! ***** I admit when I first saw it which was during the pilot, I thought it was a bit dark and depressing, and I've had my fill of shows like that. But I've watched parts of the second season that made me realize the show is more than its dark aspects. I loved the International Assassin episode.

Definitely check it out. I've been hooked on it 24/7 for the past couple of months, haha. It's really taken over my life in a way. It's just too good and I have a feeling you'll enjoy it! Ah, yes. Cassaravi's "the world went away" video was how I got my mom to start watching the show! She watched the entire thing in about three, four days lol. And she didn't know why I kept talking about the show and didn't want anything to do with it.. then I show her the video... bam! she's like, "lets watch the first episode" and she was hooked from that point on. I need to show more people that video :)

Then once I did, i regret nothing :D It's so amazing! I already got a few of my family members into it as well and they already love it as much as I do, which is awesome haha.

Heather, you don't even understand how excited I was to click on this.. I'm actually writing this before I even watched it because I know it's going to be amazing. The Leftovers has easily become my favorite show ever, I am so obsessed and I'm having Leftovers withdrawals because not many people have even edited this show at all. But I am soooo glad you like it as well, as you are by far my favorite and the best editor in this community. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the show and how you got started on it, how it went for you and what you think of S3 being the final season :/ well, I actually think they will end it beautifully, as S1 and S2 ended, not knowing if there was going to be another season. Well, I'm about to watch it now lol, I just had to let that out first. :)

well there goes all my feels.. bravo, this was amazing. I loved the different version of "where is my mind" never heard that one but I thought it went extremely well. I love the Maxence Cyrien version the most, but they used that in the show and I can see why you didn't use that one. This really makes me want to watch the show again, for a FOURTH time. Yes, I've watched this show all the way through 3 times already.. picking up more and more along the way. I am this show's #1 fan, and I hope you editing it brings it more attention. I've even thought about trying to make my own Leftovers tribute, and I don't know the first thing about editing. But I have insanely good ideas for videos lol. The show is truly inspiring.. as are you, Heather :)

+Max McKinnon Lol thank you so much!!! I heard this version a while back and wanted to use it for something. I hadn't heard this version before I watched The Leftovers, but as soon as I finished this show, I knew what I was doing it for. :) I was always a fan of the original version from Fight Club, but somehow this version just made it more meaningful to edit to with Kevin. And that's crazy because I already watched it three times as well haha! It's just SO good! With all the re-watches i've done, i've also been able to pick up more details than I had with my first watch through. It's amazing how many hidden clues this show has that normally you wouldn't be able to pick up at a first glance. I definitely want to make more Leftovers videos, I have another one in the works that I hope to finish soon! :)
