In this special video, we’ve sat down with those who have been there from the beginning, like HWPO CEO Matt O’Keefe and Coaching Director Jake Marconi, friends turned HWPO athletes like Katrin Davíðsdóttir, and those carrying on the legacy as new faces of the sport, like Jayson Hopper.

Come on ppl.. Matt's legacy is layered ( the athlete- unmatched, the coach - to create more champions through the HWPO brand but win or lose u can see the progression and marked difference in the athletes he prepares, the businessman - bringing this brand to the world for all of us, the friend, the future mini mat, I could go on. The best part about all of this is that u dont have to celebrate someone's legacy and all that they did when they are dead..the best time to celebrate is in the now, hence the video. That is what this video is about EMBRACING AND APPRECIATING THE NOW. Big congrats to Mat and his day ones... best of luck to jason and katherine and to be honest whatever position they place it really doesnt matter because only a blind man cant see they are so improved. Everything about this video and everything you do speaks to me and inspires me. “No excuses”, “make yourself proud”, “hard work pays off” it all hits home. It makes me want to become the best athlete I can, to be happy with my results, to give it my all, to work as hard as I can to achieve my dream. @@davidwendt4857 I feel that way about a lot of the HWPO content whether it be KZfaq or instagram posts. So much of it seems like it was staged or forced as if it's gone through different PR and HR people and you are left to wonder what is the point. And yet I still consume it all.

I think it’s more about the ones around him able to give him his flowers as a legend of the sport. You know not wait till tragedies in life happen to talk about how amazing he was a competitor, and how amazing he is as a coach.

Watching all these Athletes the past few years, I am over the moon about HWPO. And it is fcking Crazy how Mat mightve stepped off the competition floor but he's still there in the same fashion he competed in. And seeing Sammy and O'Keefe be there with him still? Is fantastic. I can't believe we get to be here for all of this!!
