I could be wrong about this. but JP Kongol's voice sort of reminds me of Ganondorf's voice in Ocarina of Time.

This is a rare case in which I prefer the ENG version (though I really enjoyed all the female VAs for the JP version). JP Albert sounds like he's got severe depression. Dart's was probably the worst though.

Interesting how the voice acting is pretty decent during combat but *god-awful* during cutscenes for the most part in The Legend of Dragoon. 🤨

I gotta say, I actually prefer Kongol's Japanese voice over the dub. Original Meru is also cute. This does have me wondering what the original Addition names are for Haschel? I picked out the word "Sanzu" from Ferry of Styx, which to my understanding has some similar role as the river Styx?

One of my favorite games. I played the first few times without knowing any English and had difficulty on the third CD, after all it was necessary to read to follow the path in a puzzle. I think both Dubs are bad, but the English voices are better in this case. Some are beautiful, but poorly managed. As mentioned in a friend's comment below, as well as Valkyrie Profile and as well as Star Ocean, this is one of the rare cases where the Dub version is better.

oh lord, the nostalgia, although the dub in battle was ok, the cutscenes were terrible in dub it was painful to listen to.

is this footage from an emulator? playing the game right now and first i am playing the europe-version, the game runs slower than this, the additions are far more easier for me than this and i play the original ps1 discs on a ps3 with hdmi and the graphics look not nearly as sharp as this

I think it always sounds dumb to do a move saying its name, especially while finishing it. And it sounds extra cringy to me in English, so I prefer the undubbed version

Sorry, but Japanese all the way. Not being a total weeb or anything, but the Japanese voice acting is superior because they put more emotion and more feeling into it. And the Japanese seiyuus are famous for being certain anime characters. (Akemi Okamura, Shana's Japanese seiyuu as my all-time favorite One Piece girl, Nami.)
