@@Lord6 Yes, years before first stream Matt was working with Liam and they bonded over mutual interest in dnd, so Matt offered to do a one-shot for his birthday. Liam thought about it, accepted, they called some friends over for a game and that's how it started. Years later Ashley's friend from geek & sundry suggested that they could stream the campaign on their platform. Couple more years later they started their own company, separated from g&s, and now here we are, they own everything they do and are expanding.

@@will_danz They rolled the nat 20 on deception, let's just hope they don't roll a nat 1 on the performance check. It's completely ridiculous but not surprising that it happened. Netflix pulled a classic "they had us in the first half..." As heartbreaking as it is that it might not have the same spirit as the animated series, I just really hope that it is a good show at the end of the day. Just please God don't Riverdale our childhood Netflix.

I'll admit it. I cried when the art for Emon by Kent Davis came on screen. It's so overwhelming to actually "see" an official rendering of the city. I've been a Critter since there was less than 500 people watching. It's what got me into D&D and encouraged me to ask my husband to play again after he stopped for 20 years. Our game has been running for 2 years now. I don't think I can ever truly put into words how much Critical Role has changed my life. Thank you Matt, Marisha, Liam, Sam, Travis, Laura, Ashley and Taliesin for everything you have brought into my life.

I guess the things I’m going to be really excited about are seeing the small things like facial expressions, little frowns and smirks and idle movements, foot tapping, fiddling with things etc that you have to leave completely up to your own imagination when watching/listening because it will add SO much to the characters! Then there’ll be the things that they’re planning on changing or tweaking for, say, the Briarwood arc. Like what if [character] hadn’t succeeded a particular wisdom save... And conversations between the Briarwoods that we don’t see? More characterisation from other villains and everything. The possibilities are endless!

@@andythepanhead As an animator, I can attest to the fact that although difficult, the coat would have to be done ornately only once in 3D and then moved with the character and traced over. Animation has come a long way. Fabric is always a pain, but its well worth it... Molly is a favorite character of mine... I desperately want to see the mighty nein animated

This looks amazing. I hope they keep some of the humor that happens at the table in the show. The dirty jokes, double entendres, foul language - the characters totally whiffing (nat 1), all the hair brained scheming and planning, the shopping episode with a grumpy grog.. etc. The visuals alone though are amazing and titmouse is... godly. Looking forward to this.

I imagine they'll cut the out-of-character banter, but much of the stuff simply belongs to the character: Vax trolling Grog, Scanlan rhyming whatever comes to his dirty mind, Keyleth's confused screaming when something unexpected happens, Grog being background comedy gold while the rest is doing serious stuff... I doubt we'll be disappointed...

They have mentioned that it is an adult animated series, and language from the episodes will be similar if not out right the same as the table top game. I want to see Scanlan's brushes with Suude.

When i discovered critical Role, The Kickstarter was already over. And I know so many People who fell in love with the SHow and the Cast. I think whatever comes in the next years, the growing Critter Community got your back.

Ideed. I was so happy when I finally reached the Episode with the animated Intro of the Mighty Nine. Since I started to late, I only saw parts of Vox Machina but wanted to watch Mighty Nine from the beginning. SO, I look forward to the animated series of Vox Machina, and hope there will be one for Mighty Nine some time as well.

@@deafiningbanana2614 the Audio fixes around mid to high teens if iirc. The briarwood arc is so amazing so is grogs arc. I'd highly recommend the first campaign

I rewatch all the making off vids for The Legend of Vox Machina, not just for the utter enthausiasm and hype, but also because the music choices in each of them are fucking phenominal!
