i love how you crammed so much stuff into one 3 day cycle, you got 6 extra hearts, did the first 2 temples, got the biggest bomb bag and the largest quiver, and got quite a few masks! XD

It's even more heart wrenching watching the moon topple them over if you call them and let time run out. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Yes, there is an animation for it. And god does it hurt to watch.

I've tried it stopping the moon with only the 3 Giants from Snowhead, Great Bay and Stone Tower. It was confusing for me at first as to why they didn't succeed in stopping it when it looks like you only need 3 Giants to stop it. Link himself could fill in as the 4th using the Giant's Mask. That question was answered when you rescue the 4th Giant and have them stop the moon in Majora's next action afterward.

When the world is about to end and you go back in time I can just imagine the owl, banker, and other people that remember you even though you time traveled, pull out their own devices and travel back in time. I'm starting to think that's what happens...

Chugga did you know that all the instruments used by the mask transformations (aside from the deity) had their own names. Pipes of Awakening for the deku scrub Drums of sleep for the goron The guitar of waves for the zora And the most obvious the orcarina of time for human

"If we shoot that pot up there, a fairy will pop out of this pillar down here." That's because fairies always have the same Z coordinate as Link. Like if you climb a ladder and there's a fairy, it'll stay at the same level that Link is at. I think it's pretty obvious why they did that, otherwise it would be a lot more difficult to catch them in bottles.

You mean "Y" coordinate. Height is Y.

khrocksg main generally I think of North-South as Y and East-West as X, and height as Z. World coordinates, not camera. But whatever, they're just labels, they can be whatever you want.

Dear Chugga, The fact that you did the race in 1 try really pissed me off. That race is the biggest cheat I've ever seen in my life. It literally took me 42 tries to do it. Otherwise enjoying your let's play thus far.

@@matthewbrown509 Well, me and my dad had trouble with it in the original n64 version, until he just suddenly got good at it, but usually he tried the special potion that gives you Infinite magic meter for one 3 day cycle. I wasn't too bad at the 3DS version, but I still don't like redoing the Goron Races, and while I wish my dad could still help me out, I know I have to be able to beat these things myself now, because my dad lives somewhere else now, and doesn't play games anymore. But at least I always remember the time he spent helping me out with Majora's Mask and the times he spent using guides to help him out. And the times where I didn't even need to ask for help, because sometimes, when I'd wake up, he'd be there, playing the game, and playing it very well, like a pro. But at least he remembers when he played it. But holy crap, when the world's about to end, those are the most stressful moments of the entire game. They really did it right. And the individual animations for if you only get a certain number of giants, but not all 4, is also hard to watch, seeing 1 or 2, or 3 giants, all failing to stop the evil looking moon from falling, while most of the townspeople are scared s**tless, it's certainly clear, Nintendo knew what they were doing, making this whole game, in LESS than a whole year. That's insanely incredible! And the song that plays during the final hours of the game, is ironically called: "Final Hours". But the whole soundtrack itself is incredible! As much as I'd love to go back and see my dad playing the game again, I can't, but I absolutely love the 3DS remakes of both Majora's Mask and Ocarina Of Time.

You need to do something about your levels. I'm watching because you are knowledgable about the differences between the Japanese and American releases and I'm feeling nostalgic for this game, but your volume jumps make me want to tear my hair out.

9:47 if you look at the cobweb at the bottom left of the screen, you'll see the only Skullwalltula in Termina. They are very common in Hyrule, but an endangered species in Termina. 11:54 the fairy doesn't come out of the pillar, it actually comes out of the pot. It looks like it comes out of the pillar because fairies will always match Link's y-position within about half a second. This also happens in OoT. You can even watch them drop down to your height if you use R to crouch.

The goron race isn't too bad. It works well enough that if you keep at it and bash a few skulls on your way, you'll usually make it to the front in time even if you had a rough start. :) I tried selling the Deku Princess at the curiosity shop one time, but he wouldn't buy her. XD

Lovin' the continuity you're giving this game. It's a rather unique way of doing things yet still informative and sensible; I like it! The true definition of "Let's Play" is finally coming back to center stage in this project.

game theory did a fantastic video of how much kinetic energy the moon would hit termina with. since it's moving so slowly, it only has 36 joules of energy or about 26.5 foot-pounds for those more imperially inclined.

Ear rape And Bleach Yes but you have to start sharpening in the 1st day. Since he waited until the 2nd day to get to the Mountain Smithy, he had 0 reason to try sharpening, since your sword as the Razor Sword goes back to normal if you travel back in time

One thing I find amazing about Chuggaaconroy is, He gets the complete opposite of The Let's Play Curse. He gets the LP blessing. Because normally when you start recording you suck when you usually do great. But with him, he sucks off camera, and does great on camera.

Gotta love the moon. Honestly though, I never got why so many people are freaked out by the moon. Sure, it has an ugly face, and you're on a "timer", but when you can reset time whenever you want, it just doesn't feel very threatening. Still, it's a nice touch.

Whenever I turn back time, or watch it happen, I get a massive feeling of dread and guilt.... Even after all of that progress, it's still not enough to save Termina.... And so we must leave a doomed world.... And reset the cycle once again

Alright, the jar on top of the pillar and with the butterfly landing on the stick, the reason it gives you faries is because its something they added to see if people would actually think about doing things like that... sort of a reward if you will for trying things out

I find the maturity in this game astounding. The Swordsman School teacher stays for the entire three days, but at the end, finally cracks. It makes you really feel like each NPC is an actual person who is enduring this suffering.

the giant scenes after you defeat a dungeon and the final giant scene are the most powerful and haunting ones in Majora's Mask. no doubt about it.

When I first found out that Chugga was going to do Majora's Mask, I didn't know how enjoyable the LP was going to be. But seeing all of these different events in the game, I can't wait to see how it'll turn out in the end. This is just way too exciting. And not to mention hilarious.

Wow, never tried to use oath to order early. It's really cool that the game has a scene for it (even if it is the same scene as normal minus the missing giants). This LP makes me appreciate this game more and it is already my favorite Zelda (with WW and first LoZ)

When I first played Majora's Mask, I had NO idea what I had to do, so I just spun into everyone the whole three days...then I found out how to be human again! Then I found a way to skip half of each dungeon!

hey chugga, if you ever get a sore throat again theres a tea you can make to make to quell the pain, first get an empty tea bag and take pine needles small enough to fit in it and brew up the tea itslef. then take some fall (or spring made honey, its all in your taste preference) and put a teaspoon of that in the tea. its called pine tea and pretty much tastes like sap but believe me it works
