I had that same thought when I first saw this scene. Part of me almost wishes either she or Link acknowledged it. Thousands of years and she's holding his hand again, can't imagine that emotion.

@@jaydoggy9043This game had a lot of "Feels" moments like that. Zelda spending X years as a barely sentient dragon, Mineru sitting in Zelda's futuristic Switch on the off chance Link would pick it up from one of her constructs. Plus she's technically still alive after all this time so that's really her seeing the modern world and apologizing profusely for the damage the secret stones caused. Bless her so much.

It’s so astonishing to discover that she was with us the whole time through the Purah Pad. It’s given to us early on up at the Great Sky Island, and we assume it’s because Zelda wanted us to use it as a resource. But in reality, it was to deliver the Fifth Sage to us, someone who’s lost so much but is willing to sacrifice what little is left of her (much like Zelda herself). The way this game connects back to early discoveries as you progress further is incredible!

Mineru has a lot in common with Midna of all people: - Ancient race that’s humanoid but not quite - Princesses - Has a good friendship with their respective Zelda. - One rides Link, Link rides on the other. - Beautiful, for an otherworldly species. - Hides that beauty in a form not as lovely. - Wears an ancient relic on their head - A companion to Link - So much taller than Link in their true form Any others?

Is one of two primary people of her race. For Twilight Princess, it was Midna and Zant, for this game, it is Mineru and her brother Rauru

I never thought of that, that's actually amazing! The Zonai really ARE like the twili! Dark looking creatures who are ultimately good and seem to come from a parallel realm. Plus the Twili were the only "people" not directly brought back in the new "wild era" timeline despite having a major connection with Hyrule. and the fact that Mineru and Rauru seem to be the last of the Zonai (and being siblings makes things a BIT more difficult), but their ability to appear between the realm of the living and the dead and Mineru's words in the ending heavily imply what the Twilight realm truly is.

I think Purah will be the new sage of the spirit, as Mineru is the Zonai tech scientist, and Purah is the Sheikah tech scientist, both perfecting their peoples' technologies, apart from some peculiarities that the two have in common, such as wearing glasses on top of their heads.

The Sheikah already have power and although we haven’t seen Purah directly use hers (even in AoC DLC I think she summons tech to fight for her as opposed to Impa who summons more spirit-like clones), I still think she puts spiritual energy/magic into the machines she makes in a similar way to how Mineru did with the constructs. Maybe the stone would allow her to do the same spirit separation technique.

Not to be that guy, but the Zonai race still might be around. The ones we see or hear about are the ones who descended to the earth to found Hyrule. For all we know, the Zonai could still be alive and thriving in their home in the heavens.

Given the fact AoC lives in a split timelinr where they survive the first calamity. That means the Zelda that went back in time and has been wait8ng for Link to return to use the repaired sword bore witness to her kingdom not falling. Meaning things have drastically changed and all her preparations for totk have to be altered now. It would be interesting to see the aoc timelin3 continue past its ending to incorporate this new stuff

@@Aaron-hv4hrYeah and given the swear to oath at the end is meant to mirror that of what happened in the past. Link would just take Mineru's place as the "Sage of spirit" as Zelda took Rauru's place as the royal commander in chief. So he very likely kept the stone for himself. It all lines up.

We might not have to yet. With Tears of the Kingdom being a hit, we might get a third sequel. This isn't confirmed, but it is a hope.

@@Jaxagain.yeah, I’m still slightly more attached to most botw characters, but it’s like Totk was more of a weird reboot rather than sequel. And to be a direct sequel it sort of doesn’t connect to much to botw too much. (Hopefully that made sense.)

She opperates a mech that you can swap out it's weapons it attacks with. The ability allows you to ride it ( which is nice in the depths when you want to collect or cross over gloom )

@jstar3382 sounds like someone doesn't get attention to story dialogue For herself, she swapped her spirit/soul to another body, which she ended up to the mech now since she doesn't have her body anymore.

@@KiaraDoggo Her body actually died due to the gloom inside of it that occurred during the battle with Ganondorf/Demon King. She put her soul within the Purah Pad till she could transfer it over to the Mech.
