Well twilight princess is one of my favorites. The story is actually pretty cool, I got into it the moment I started playing. I liked wolf link, and the ability to talk with animals was cool as well. And Midna was such a good character, and the Story and the game did a good job showing the growth of the twilight princess. The tutorials were needed since it was the first game on the Wii with unique controls. Aiming the arrow, claws etc felt like actually aiming. It all was unique and new. And it was one of the best games for the Wii in the Era.

Did he just forget about the sword techniques in TP? They’re what make the combat actually really fun if you take the time to learn them, particularly when fighting Darknuts and Ganondorf at the end. Which by the way, despite his inclusion feeling forced, was an incredibly fun final boss. I really liked how you fought Dark Beast Ganon, then Ganondorf

I remember back when I first played skyward sword. I was all excited to fight Demise, but then Fi calculated my chance of victory, just like she had throughout the whole game. When she ended up only saying "good luck", that actually spooked me. It was the first time Fi showed real emotion. She was concerned for me, and suddenly I had the sense I was gonna get destroyed. I've always loves Fi as a character.

Link becoming Wolf actually adds a lot to the game and it's lore, for starters the twili had a profecy about being saved by a beast, refering to Link, and the fact that Midna has looking for someone to help her to get the fused shadow parts, if Link wouldn't turn into a wolf, Midna wouldn't be able to do anything while hyrule is getting absorbed by the twilight.

honestly, I LOVED skyward sword. was the first Zelda game I ever fully beat, and I really liked the story and I felt all the boss fights were pretty good. also, the calamity was annoying sure but when he got close to the top you felt like "oh shit!" and over all when you first saw him it was intimidating as all hell. when he got arms though he did look kind of stupid though

Fans- We want to use the Wii mote like an actual sword! Nintendo- No problem! Here’s a new Zelda game that lets you do exactly that. Fans- We forgot we’re lazy and we’re going to say the game sucks despite the fact that you completely delivered on what we thought we wanted.

It might just be because it was my first Zelda game, but I love Skyward Sword. The motion controls never really gave me any problems and I can tolerate the backtracking. The story is so enthralling and I love that Zelda had her own adventure alongside Link's (at least up until she sealed herself away). The sky was pretty empty, but Skyloft felt so lively and it was fun to hang around there. I liked most of the characters, the cutscenes were pretty well animated, and the music was really good. The motion controls also makes me feel really immersed into the game, which makes it more enjoyable.

Twilight Princess was my absolute favorite game. I liked the darker theme, the soundtrack and the dungeons. I was really disappointed by skyward sword because of that.

As a major Twilight Princess fan, I'll admit, I got salty. I'll state a few things about why I think TP is a great game. Riding on Epona in this game is still one of the best horse riding mechanics I've ever seen in any game period. The ability to freely use your sword, and the way how sometimes Link holds up his sword in a battle stance while riding head on into battle was just so epic. Even when warping somewhere was a better option than getting their by horse, I still always used Epona whenever I could. Also, the items have always been used to fight the bosses of the dungeons. They're just simply a good test of knowledge (although I totally agree that the enemies in this game are WAY too weak). And I think the wolf was a good mechanic. It fit with the theme of characters changing form between different realms. This game's Link also had a lot to lose. He has friends and people that he cares about, and you can see just how dedicated he is to making sure everyone's hopes are high. And yeah, Ganondorf felt pretty stapled on, but I think his four phase final boss was a perfect way to give the player one final gauntlet with the king of evil. The final sword fight is as epic as ANY Zelda final boss could EVER get. Oh yeah, and I agree with you on Skyward Sword.

This popped up recently for me and I’m really glad. Skyward Sword was my first Zelda game and it started a love for the series that nothing else could stop. I remember getting into TP with my brother but I kept going back to SS. Part of my enjoyment came from solving the puzzles with him and seeing who could get further. I remember when we first saw Zelda’s bit seal.... we were shocked! And for my first two or three runs of it I was so scared (read: bad) at the final fight that I had to ask him to help. Looking back on it now I can definitely say I usually got defensive of it because of it being my first Zelda game, and while I understand a lot of its problems I totally agree, it’s definitely worth playing even now. I was pretty excited to see some of the ideas used their implemented into BOTW (stamina upgrades were a godsend!) but the story and characters of Skyward Sword will always be number one for me.

As a child this was everything I had imagined Ocarina of Time to be, which is still one of my favorite Legend of Zelda games. However, as an adult now, I see all of these negatives you pointed out. Twilight princess still has a place in my heart though

Skyward sword has some of the best dungeon designs in the series.

My favorite Zelda game. Easily some of the best sword combat thanks to the new moves you can learn. Also, bark~. And Skyward Sword is not far behind, I adore it's control scheme. it's handholding is the only major gripe i have with it.

It is like you forgot to pay any attention to the story when you play as wolf Link those whole portions are filled with story and scenes that show why it is so important for Link to finish his quest and protect those he cares about.

You can't deny that Twilight Princess has outstanding and cool speedruns.

I think what I like best about Skyward Sword is the fact that you get Link to sit on a bench and just chill while his health was slowly restoring.

Twilight Princess, in my opinion, is one of the best game of the series. I know you don't enjoy TP as much as I do but I think it's a bit unfair that you point out a lot of its flaws but barely any good points. Sure the pacing is kind of sh*tty and "Hyrule in twilight" is a little...blandly, but the story, the atmosphere and the character are fantastic. Then again, maybe people just have different tastes and opinions about stuffs like this. Nonetheless, TP's definitely something worth checking out.

The expressions in Skyward Sword and Wind Waker are the best in my opinion. I like how you did the side of salt with a positive vibe for Skyward Sword, because so much is put down on it. I do wish I had the Wii again so I could play this game! If it ever comes to Switch or something, I'm curious if any of these fixes will be made? At least graphic wise and adding a pop of color.

Actually, beside BotW, Tiwilight Princess is my favorite game. Okay the wolf machanic was something I didn't like because it was really hard to control (at least for me). I liked the Bossfights especially the Yeta and Ganon one. Also, after the game, Midna became my favorite Sidekick that Link had so far. She wasn't annoying like Phi or Navi. Zeldas design became my favorite design of hers. She was pretty *_AF_* ! Okay, Ganondorf was an asshole but it was fun to fight him.Matter of fact, I love it. P.S. Twilight Princess is my second favourite Zelda game. Skyward Sword is great and really doesn't deserve a lot of the hate it gets. I'm doing an LP of the game and it's the first time I played it since my initial playthroughs when it first came out. I forgot how much fun the game is.

Literally the only reason why I would get a Wii U is to play Twilight Princess in HD. I understand its not for everyone (a college classmate that I was kinda familiar with went off on me for saying that Twilight Princess was one of my favorite Zelda games, if not my favorite at the time), but I do enjoy the artstyle, the world building, and even a little bit of the story (despite people saying thats it is incredibly simplistic, may I remind that most Zelda games are simplistic when it comes to story if they even really have one at all). This is not to say that I don't enjoy other Zelda Games (Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, Ocarina of Time, and Breath of the Wild were pretty good at their releases), but Twilight Princess will always be a classic for me.
