After a Hank concert in Lexington, KY, circa 1988-89, my buddies and I met Wayne "The Animal" Turner in a hotel bar. We were 21-22 yrs old. We drank a few beers with him. I had seen this video on TV and asked Wayne if I could sing the song with him. He walked over to a grand piano in the hotel lobby and began playing it. I'll never forget sitting on the piano bench with Wayne Turner and singing this song with him. Thanks Wayne, for being a cool guy to four young Hank Jr. and Bama Band fans!

So so so so much better than the Sammy Kershaw version. This band was so underrated, and over looked. The same thing could be said for the song "Takin' Off The Edge"

Honestly, who plays Hank Jr. songs when they're heartbroken? Other than that travesty, it's a good version.

I can't believe remital24 thinks Wayne sounds alot like Hank! Get your ears cleaned out! He sings alot better than Hank.
