I can’t imagine anyone wearing a diamond of that size. Diamonds are much heavier than a stone of the same size. I had the opportunity to handle a 17 ct. diamond. The sheer weight of 38.519 ct., you would have to be a weightlifter.

Certainly many magnificent jewels but her bracelet of pear-shaped diamonds - briefly shown in the photo of the Pasha diamond ring - is my favorite but the bracelet wasn’t mentioned. I suppose it was broken down?

Question - was Barbara wearing one of the blackened steel and diamond tiaras for her wedding to Mdvidiani? I thought I caught a glimpse of it as she turned her head to the side. If yes, was it part of her collection that was sold?

It actually was made of tortoise shell, platinum and diamonds and was made by Cartier. Good eye you have.
