While him lighting his cigarette looks normal. In reality he opened his domain using the motion of lighting the cigarette to open it. His opponent tried to retalliate by opening his own domain but it was too late. The entire stadium was in his domain, to avoid unnecesary bloodshed his opponent resigned

Mikhail Tal was known for his legendary sacrifices to win spectacularly. In this video we see him sacrifice his lungs to win the game. A true genius.

Fun fact: Tal's opponent actually formally forfeited the game before it even began, because he had seen Tal slip a pack of matches into his pocket. Also, although it occurred in a very inefficient manner, the Soviet Union intentionally began to collapse a few years before Tal was born, in recognition of the fact that once he was born, defeat was inevitable.
