When you see a great cruiser, you know it right away. When paired with Star innovations, such as the SOHC air-cooled V-twin engine and shaft drive, vintage looks look even better. The 8.3:1 oversquare engine on midsize cruisers at the time was effectively fuelled by a 37 mm Keihin carburettor with a throttle position sensor.

Upgraded to hard saddle bags two years ago and chopped 4" off muh windshield. Both have greatly improved the look and functionality. Absolutely LOVE this bike!! ❤

I used to ride a 2005 VStar 1100 classic. Last month I bought a really nice 2015 XVS 950. I like it better. Easier to change the oil and filter.

What for needing a starter clutch?

This bike has 3 problems. The starter motors are cheap, change it with a quality unit and never worry about it. The oil change is a problem but with the oil relocation kit, that end the problem and an oil change is fast and easy. And last, the starter clutch often goes bad. That's a little more complicated, but once it's fixed, no worries. I love this bike.
