Not just historical colonialism but modern US economics/diplomacy as well. US corporations own land in other countries and harvests their resources but contribute far less to their economy than they do to the US, and US diplomatic and military efforts go towards preserving those interests (see the CIA's intentional and self-admitted destabilization of the middle east to prevent countries from nationalizing their deposits of oil, and the very long history of US and western European countries instigating infighting and coups within African nations to extract more resources cheaply to be processed for US benefit (notably manipulating the Congo to get better deals on rare earth minerals mined in hellish conditions to be processed into computer parts). It's a brutally effective lie that's been sold for generations at the heart of any empire, including this generation, at the heart of this empire.

I disagree Xavier is blotted with self importance and good he manipulates everyone to live up to his ideology and doesn’t want to grant them freedom what’s the good and point of Xavier’s goodness keeping all the Xmen around you if you can already tap into their minds. Thus having the ability to shape and influence what they ought to be. How many times does Xavier keep on preaching Co-existing with humans while humans keep on killing the mutants even attacked them in they very own island! Xavier’s self importance and centre of goodness is what makes him a villain. And Magneto knows humans better that they can change their minds and heart anytime and kill them all! Xavier is a zealot! To even enter the minds of others do that they see his point is violating the will of others if someone wants to be a villain it’s their will to do so and their own consequences and if one wants to to do good it should be their own decision and the appreciation of the difficulties of trying to be good. Xavier has gathered mutants in his house put them in danger to fight against dangers all the in the name of what ? Everytime humans do something he intervenes and chooses the middle side even where humans have the upper hand and the mutants are cornered. I despise such character!

I actually think it's pretty powerful line. If we can skip laughing that he said they were fucking. We can see the other words he used "dancing, drinking wine, making love." Invoking imagery of a glorious festival that could rival the ancient Greeks during their times of glory.
