I liked that store. I shopped in there a few times both before and during liquidation. I was sad to see it among all the others close. But I especially liked this one because of the star around the "R".

I heard Toys R us is comming back but will be smaller not those big ones. Toys r us as we knew it is gone BUT will be reinvented for a new generation come winter. I sure hope so!

The Toys R Us, Babies R Us lettering are still up on the building here at my local Toys R Us located here in Arlington, TX, the Toys R Us Street Sign Is Still Hanging as well, you can probably see it all as to what I speak of by checking it out on google earth 😎

I dont see how so many people can be upset over a store closing. It only closes when people don't shop there... it's your own fault.

not all the time. if someone got christmas gifts here or birthday gifts they can’t be counted as a result for the store going bankrupt. and everyone can be upset for a store closing that’s been around for over 70 YEARS. everyone has every single right to be upset. stop acting so cold hearted and understand that people can be upset even if your not. grow up.

Besides, a lot of stores around the USA and even near my hometown in South Australia didn't bother to keep the signage up-to-date. So Good Riddance anyway!
