The problem with the South Korean fishing fleets in Italian waters will be that they will not just fish the blue crab. They will fish all sea life they can do and will ignore Italian regulations. Just ask Australia and New Zealand about that problem.

8:08 refugees and asylum seekers are not undocumented nor illegal aliens. Both situations constitute lawful immigration statuses. Also those immigration statuses are not work dependent and would not result in a status like was mentioned in 8:42. An H-1B visa is a work visa that requires sponsorship, someone on a refugee or asylum status would not require sponsorship to obtain work authorization.

People granted asylum and refugee status aren't in the country illegally. There's still reasons you don't hire those people at a company that is regulated as an ICBM weapons technology manufacturer. It's very likely not a question of "don't want to", it's a question of "people start going to federal prison if we do" thing. That said, if someone defects from, let's say, DPRK… And they were working on Kim's missile program and they want a job working in the field they know … I'd bet once the CIA were sure of them, a way would be found for them to continue working in their chosen field of study.

The mushroom treatment has indeed been shown to provide significant help for a lot of people dealing with treatment resistant depression (normal drugs don't work). But the official psilocybin access pathway is what Louis Rossmann might call "malicious compliance", since on paper its available, but the reality is that there is hudle after hurdle, followed by a brick wall that few can climb The brick wall is that after trying all the other treatments, you must spend a minimum of (in my country) around $12000 US, to go through mandatory psych sessions and monitoring during treatment. So if you're not rich, its totally out of reach. I imagine it's similar in the US.

Anybody considered that tripping on Psylocybin, in a closed room, with a Doctor supervising you, could send you on a paranoia trip? Why not do it at a place, where you feel comfortable anyway? I mean, i usually tried to escape the feeling of oppression, or the feeling of being caged, when i tripped on LSD or Mushrooms. Being outside works like a charm for me.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but aren't refugees treated differently than illegal aliens, as in order to be a refugee and not an illegal alien, you have to apply to and be granted asylum by the US State Department? So Ukrainian Refugees can be hirable by US companies, where illegal aliens are strictly forbidden.

Essentially you are correct. Refugee and asylum (both a pending application and an approved one) represent a lawful immigration status. Discrimination based on such is illegal.

Space X gave their reason as "oh, ITAR and reasons" but the DoJ put out a document titled "How to Avoid Immigration-Related Discrimination when Complying with U.S. Export Control Laws " in april 2023. So this seems to have brewing for a while.

on the subject of crows I've seen first hand the intelligence. There are a large number of them near my work place and they have a number of take outs and drive throughs of which they take dominion I saw two working as a team to empty the KFC bins which have since had to made bird proof one would push the door of the trash bin open and pull the bin liner up and grab it under foot until it could pull the contents out on to the floor the team work came into play when they would get chased off by staff of the restaurant so they paired up so as soon as the food hit the floor one would scramble to carry it all away I witnessed them go back forth to a nearby bush where they collected all the tasty leftovers over a period of 20 minutes across three separate bins they had considerable pile the staff members frustration made me laugh the most she stood in front of the bin after cleaning up the mess twice before she realised they had moved onto the next there was a huge sigh let out as I can only imagine the internal monologue was one of despair and wonder of what she had done to deserve such torment

Also rejecting the fact that American cheese is cheese, shows how little you know about cheese.. it is cheese it's been emulsified in order to melt evenly, it's actually kind of brilliant and made kraft the company that it is today, as it turns out emulsification extends shelf life significantly and there was a war going on when they developed it.. but it is cheese and it is brilliant and it is amazing, and if you actually get like the the more deli stuff, that competes with in its own niche pretty much whatever you'd use for that purpose.. I think the closest thing I've seen in the more traditional cheese sense is havarti but it's got properties of something like Halumi in that you can also toast it because of its homogenized properties.. Not that you never know cuz you've been cursed Wendell.. and on account of it being real cheese it's got real animal protein.. and if you look at how people come up with the ways to make cheeses honestly that's that's genuinely one of the least overcomplicated LOL.. I don't think they use any armpit sweat or long-term bacterial growth that's regional to a cavein Switzerland and may have extraterrestrial origins. Not to be confused by the way with Velveeta which is a whey product which is technically a cheese if you're looking at like ricotta or any of the other whey centric cheeses which.. you could already was a cheese product more than anything else.. but it's really not that different compositionally in its base form anyways.

Elon gets part of the former NASA funding as subsidies. He NEVER delivers on time. (Has a pretty bad censorship policy on X too.) He clutters lower Orbit with Satellites in the thousands, Charges 5k for a Starlink business connection (Thought he meant to be cheap). And his Tesla Truck, Hyperloop, and Teslabots do not work. And then there is Neuralink. I somehow understand the hate. But it will get much worse, once people realize just how much Shares have lost over time. And what an Insurance for a "Fully self Driving car" will set them back.
