In the first chapter it tells that He made male and female, but in the second chapter it goes into more detail about how they were created. As far as Cain's wife is concerned, in the 5th chapter it says that Adam had other sons in daughters, so Cain did have sisters. We are all the descendants of Adam and Eve. Adam called his wife Eve, because she was the mother of ALL living (humans), and in Acts the 17th chapter it says that God created, out of one man all of the nations of the earth.
