This movie is awesome (it deserves a part 2), and the actors should receive an award for their performance. The movie is a reality, many families have experienced the character's secrets of lies, secrets, cheaters, molestation, addiction, suicide, and parent swap. It's time to make a change and get the healing we really need and deserve. Tell the truth and shame the devil. All praise to the Most High! 🙏🙏🙏

This movie is very heart touching and it also touched on things that happens in some house holds and are push under a rock and to be forgotten and never to be spoke on again ever cause of so many reason but number one SHAME of what people gone say and think crazy part is this has been going on for so many years in real life! always know your worth and always know God will get you thur anything I mean anything! He may not come when you want him too but he is always on time! Too all the women that can relate to this movie in any chacter hold on and press on and trust and beliveve better days are coming ! WE NEED PART2!

This movie was deep & that music was haunting. Wonder why “the Aunt” held that secret all those years. So then their Dad wasn’t really their dad. He was their Uncle?? What a crazy story but the whole point was how secrets can destroy people’s lives. Definitely an eye opener!

This movie is very realistic regarding the lies & secrets that Black Families often keep that keep us from being close to one another. Very sad, but very true! Crying for these Sisters & their Mother who is afraid to reveal her true identity to her daughters!

Im not one to comment on movies, but the generational curses from Deut wont stop until we break the curse and eead and do 2 Chronicles 7:14. The future generations will be affected by what we have been through. One comment stated forgiveness is freedom. That so true. Thats where the healing begins.

This was a sad movie. So many secrets, so much hatred bc of not telling the truth, hiding from the truth for so many years. It is so good to tell the truth, even when it comes out, at least if it is known, folk can ask for forgiveness and keep it moving, families can work through it, even if they all go to thearpy. Unforgiveness is a silent killer. We do need to see a part two. That music had to go though lol. Good movie, definitely a tear jerker.😊

This was close to my heart my mother stood by while her husband molested me never did nothing about it she cheated me out of my biological fathers social security when he died also cheated me out of my fathers mother's home I was a child when all this happened I forgave her years ago but I don't have anything to do with her she always said I exaggerated things well he molested several. Of my mother's other family members 2 of his sons did to she lied about that to this needs to stop

This is evil on another level I will never understand. The only thing i can think of is to be absent from the knowledge of GOD can do this. The way those two girls treated their own mother is something I am so glad I have never had in me. Love conquers all things. The way they treated Charmaine too is obviously above my understanding. We are all witnesses to the heartbreak and atrocities of sin. When we hate sin and love Jesus sacrifice we can do what is right. And even become like Jesus in character. Asking Him for forgiveness of our sins eventually enables us to forgive the sins of others. But we do not have to be around the wicked and rebellious. So repent and be baptized because Jesus wants us with Him forever. Remember the fourth commandment KJV reminds us of Genesis 2:2&3. Jesus is our example EVEN the forty days after His resurrection. Bible Truth is Sabbath is not sun day. Choose wisely.

I don’t need a part two, I’ve lived this, and the best thing that you can do is with the sister did, and that was to move away and completely separate yourself from the family. That is the only way you could be successful! What’s so funny is that my half sibling? Sent me a picture of our birthmother, and I was in the middle of writing a paper about generational abuse and I get this picture of the birth mother, and I really have to double down in order to finish my paper. Then I received another picture with my 2/2 siblings and the birth mother, and the best thing I could do was no response, because if you respond, it brings back the memories and it eats at you until there’s nothing left, My, half siblings, think that it’s OK to forgive and forget, that’s good for them, I choose my own life, and my life is to separate from them, in order to protect my children, for they are the most important people in my life. There was a passage that says, forgive the past, and remember, that’s behind you, keep moving forward, living in your success now and beyond, I choose to live, intentionally!
