these people are from Rukum and they are searching yarsagumba in Dolpa for a month. this yarsagumba is very expensive. people use it for medicine.

difficult is being a slave to the bank. working 80 hours a week just to break even. shamed and shit on at every turn while others are born into wealth....capitalism is more suffering than these people who are living traditionally in a world that FORCES "modernization" i.e. debt slavery.

Не каждый день дождь,а живут отвратительно.Вместе сколько можно сделать улучшить свой быт.Мужики ни рыба ни мясо,поэтому ижоны засранки.Это их устраивает потому что лодыри.У нас тоже есть пастухи и отдельно живут от населенного пункта но такого никто себе не позволял так опускаться.Жуть

Да дарите юрту.Там ,что не из чего себе смастерить жилище? Или нечем одеться,шерсть есть ,шкуры есть ,желания нет.Качевники ваши с айфанами качуюти везде интернет ловит? У нас нет и не все даже умеют пользоваться телефонами современными.Еще заимеете хлопот им ее ставить!. А перенести ее в горы кто возьмется?

Schools are closed and entire villages are emptied, aside from the elderly and the sick who cannot handle the harsh, steep and long trek thousands of meters above sea level. Hello from Ohio, my fellow American! Yarsigumba is a root found in very limited, high altitude regions of the Himalayas. It's used in lots of traditional medicinal preparations, especially traditional Chinese medicine. It must be harvested by hand very carefully. Because it is a expensive cash crop, it is one of the biggest money makers for families in this region. People who harvest yarsigumba lead a very stringent, tough life, and I'm in awe of their perseverance and strength. I could never do it, not even discounting the altitude sickness!

Sugar free - Yarsagumba is a fungus growth that is harvested for medicinal purposes. It grows in specific areas only, hence the people camping out in these areas. It is very expensive to buy in Europe. I hope that the Nepali get a fair price for their crop.

This is terrible to go to look for yasagumba at an altitude 3.5 and more metres with a baby 18 months and the weather is unpredictable. Bless you!!!!
