When I had my daughter in 2012 I moved out of Philly in 2012, I now live in a country area in PA. Philly is soooo bad now. My cousin “disappeared” in 2015 from York, she was on herion heavy (left her kids and husband) it really took over her. We haven’t heard from her since. I fear and oddly would feel relieved if I seen her in one of your videos just to know she’s alive.. you have no idea how much of a good deed you are doing. I know her... she gets clean a lot. She enters programs and tries. I've been in a recovery house with her and I've been on a program with her. She is a beautiful person. The first time I met her was in a recovery house in 2011. She's been struggling with her disease for a long time. I will continue to pray for her.

Addiction is the response to suffering. When your brain is trying to find a solution to a problem. People, especially with immense trauma, cannot handle that much pain. We shouldn’t have that much pain. And with pain and sensitivity, comes deep empathy. I know so many addicts that are the most gentle people in the world with so much light. They just can’t see it because they’re trapped in their pain. I love this insight and these questions from Dr. Gabor Maté- How come you’re in so much emotional pain? Where did the behavior come from? What are you still carrying inside that’s making you behave that way and how can I help you resolve what’s inside of you? Not just how do I help you change your behavior but how do I help you change? We can guide you to healing if we ask the right questions. The pain is the root of the suffering and needs to be healed to break the addiction. People need support, acceptance, and connection. I’ve been on strong opiates for probably 30 years so I can say I’m an addict to. I’ve had 22 major surgeries in the past 30 years from gallbladder surgery to cancer surgery every surgery in between I can’t function without the opiates the chronic pain every day rules my life. Praying for her and the rest out there for healing Amen 🙏

She looks so good. That creates confusion in the environment because people will think she's not addicted. And this is actually the worst. This way she can miss all help, support and guidance unwantedly. Hope she goes strong enough to enlist help. This woman can do so much more than what she's doing now.

Nursing deals with a lot of cases of addiction. I think if you combine experience with education, that's a powerful tool to help people.

This interview gave me some insight. I wish you could interview my parent’s and ask them these questions. These videos are helping me understand what an addict goes through. I’ll never forgive them and definitely can’t forget.

It's so sad that these gorgeous young people aren't able to see their worth and amazing potential. When you're old and in poor health it seems a total sin to see them throw all they have away and settle for living in a barely living hell.

im a recovering addict and my before and after pics stillll get me and others even more... even thoe she still hasnt lost her beauty completely daaang ahe was absolutely gourgoues before she started on that journey.

If she's scamming tricks and robbing them, she's setting herself up for dangerous situations. She will also make it difficult for the other working girls out there - johns are wary of this. There's no doubt she is known to many of them already and has difficulty getting picked up. Believe me - these guys are creeps who troll the avenue to take advantage of the girls; however, this is the way the ladies make their living. I don't judge. You just have to do the job you're paid or you can get yourself killed.

I know looks aren’t everything but wow you would never look at her and see crack/heroin/fentanyl addict, you know. She is fortunate to have her spouse by her side still & still being active in her kids lives ‼️BUT‼️ if she doesn’t change she Gonna loose all of that & much more including her looks. Addiction sometimes not always is a vicious cycle it’s a generational curse. She talks about her mom being an addict and how she felt as a child and her father being an alcoholic too. It’s sad she decided to try heroin curious in why her mom could choose it over family ! Now look what she is doing to her family. No judgement !! Just saying, it’s so true ! It’s a generational curse often in many many many families, sadly. I pray she will get sober but maybe she is not ready yet because she have hit a rock bottom fr fr. I lost my addicted mother also because my baby brother at 22 was just trying methadone first time but he had been doing cocaine for almost a year and he had been prescribed pain pills and nerve pills since he was like 16 years old. Long story short she found him dead with his girlfriend alive beside him not her fault. He was supposed to start a job paying almost $30 an hour and the small town we grew up in that was a lot of money, best job you could get! Coal Miner, and all our family were Coal Miner’s! So we were all beyond proud of him , no matter what job he had but this was a job he dreamed of having all his life! Baby girl no one who hasn’t been there knows that it’s a DISEASE NOT A CHOICE! Too many people believe we do this because we want to not because it’s a DISEASE AS BAD AS CANCER AND A DISEASE LIKE CANCER, ALZHEIMER’S EVEN AIDS! You know when my brother passed that wasn’t enough to make me stop, my children weren’t enough, and losing my Grandma who raised me dying wasn’t enough! My Mom took too many prescribed pills which killed her wasn’t enough! She only made it almost 4 years without my brother before she did this but of course my stepdad whom I never really had a good relationship well relationship at all tried to tell our family she had heart ❤️ attack, but NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT HER MEDS! We all knew better just like when my Mom told us my brother had blood clot go to his heart ❤️ because she didn’t want his father to know truth because she’s the one who got him going to doctor in first place! Point being you have to want to stop for you NOT YOUR KIDS, FAMILY OR ANY OTHER REASON BUT YOU WANT IT AND YOU ARE READY ! Love ❤️ you girl! Here for you anytime you need anything even just someone to talk to! I’m a waitress so I work 3rd shift sometimes other ones but just wish I would’ve had someone who would be there for me when I needed a kind word or just to know someone even if I didn’t ever need them was there! My Mom lived 3 houses from my grandparents but when she got married to my brothers father my grandparents knew how he treated me so they adopted me at 3 but I always lived there from birth but Mom was also only 15 years old when she had me and my PARENTS (GRAND) got Social Security checks and best insurance considering he worked in Coal Mines for 62 years. So I got all this until I was 22 because I went to college of course didn’t finish because of ADDICTION! I just hope my testimony helps you in some way! Prayers and love ❤️! ALWAYS

I don't understand how people become addicted to crack. I've tried crack like 5 years ago during my dark years and I thought it was nice but not worth the money. It was a fun couple of hours on a Saturday night.

I’m going through severe depression myself it’s a side effect of the triple bypass heart surgery I had last November and then I found out I had a malignant melanoma skin cancer stage 3B this year. Life has beat me down so bad but I keep getting up thanks to JESUS CHRIST AMEN 🙏. HE keeps me going one day at a time Amen 🙏. I’m blessed with more than I deserve to Amen 🙏.
