Keep digging. The honorific Lalla (to females), or Sidi (to males), is bestowed upon persons who deserve respect, through their kind deeds, benevolence, charity. Nothing to do with one's position in society. BTW, I detect accents from many of "pseudo " reportages. Namely southeast Asia. It takes linguists. Later. NOT 😅
