I love the designs of the entities inside the cards. They look mysterious and cool at the same time.

Even though the voice acting is terrible, there is just something so comforting about hearing this voice that brings me back to a kid on kids WB that got me interested in this series to begin with. Obviously I prefer the Japanese with subs but as a kid this worked just fine

Ah, Yue--I remember this well from the English dub. Final Judgment always left a sad memory on me because the dub never was shown past that episode on Kids WB!, or at least from what I saw. It would take me until 2008 to get back into this anime and watch it Japanese subbed to find out what happened.

Seriously, Dark looks like Yuko from xxxHolic and Light looks like Nadeshiko (Natalia), Sakura's mom.

Erm, no offense or anything, but compared to the English Dub, I think I preferred the Japanese Dub of this... Sakura sounds waaaaaay older than she looks and Kero's voice seems to be a touch off while Syaoran's voice...well, it doesn't really matter I like the anime all the same...

This was my childhood and well I prefer the English dub. I've watched the Japanese one too, (two years ago to be precise) however the storyline was much better. I was sad to have missed out on the love story but as a kid this show for me was all about magic and mystery, not love.

I found nothing wrong with the dub. I grew up with it in my childhood and has a better OST. But I wish Funimation can make a redub of this though.

Even though I see people trashing it in the comments, but I really do love the voice acting for this anime, the Nelvana dub cast became the definitive voices to me. But I do understand why some dislike the Nelvana dub, because it edited out so much, because dubbing companies edited out whatever they thought kids wouldn't like, like romance. But I love Carly McKillip's Sakura and Matt Hill 's Kero, which funny enough, is the only dub version of him where his fake form is dubbed by a male for this particular version of him, otherwise, other dubbing companies followed the JP dub and had him voiced by a female for his fake form. Fun fact too, I was 0 days old, when I found out Matt Hill who voiced Kero here, voiced Ed in Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Bankotsu from Inuyasha

Oh hell no I was trying to tell my boy for years that cardcaptures was the source for a lot of pokemon look at espion and in on of the episodes there's a pick cat with a long tail that looks just like espion

Must you dub-haters ruin my childhood for me? I Loved this show so much when I was little, and I would really love for it to return.

I realise this video is like 10 years old, but i'm wondering how you got a version of this dub with such clear sound. The sound on the versions of this dub i've found online have allot of sound issues, while they don't completely ruin it it can be distracting.

In our translation, "Clow" is read as in "glow" or "blow". I was surprised to hear it rhyme with "how" or "now" in this dub... :)

Why does american TV always changes the original soundtrack of the anime for cheap ass ugly soundtracks -_- EVERY OTHER COUNTRY kept the original soundtrack, it fits much better

Why english dubbed though?

I grew up on the English dub, and I've heard the Japanese version, personally I like the English dub better. The music makes it sound more mysterious, Sakura voice is tolerable where as I find the Japanese version annoying as hell. You may disagree with me but that's what I think of it.

Actually, it's not really generic. You don't hear a lot of people that sound like that in english dubs anymore. THANK GOD! seriously though, it was fine when I was a kid, I didn't really care back then. But know I'm glad they've stepped up the quality of voice acting, like in Durarara, Code Geass, Death Note, and best of all so far, Hetalia! :D

Honestly, say what you want about the dub, I am more used to it cause I grew up watching this show and this is one of those animes in which I really can't get used to the Original Japanese version if I were to go watch that version if you want me to be honest like there are some animes where I can watch the Japanese version with Date A Live being a perfect example of it but I do watch the dub for it too but there are ones in which I only got to watch in English as Cardcaptors is a example of it.
