Because the fittings are in desperate need of restoration and long periods of ringing are not advised

@@NirvanaCovers74 basically what Ashley said - the fittings were a bit fragile, so we kept the ringing we did here very limited. It's a fascinating place, in a very beautiful spot - I've put a bit more info in the video description, and in the Facebook link (if you are able to follow), but basically the tower is all that remains of the old church (hence it is a standalone building) - the new church was an old tithe barn that was converted in the Victorian era.
