And I watched that channel rebuilding a supercar when he mentioned that the motor (over $100,000 I think) is known for being fragile. Supercars are a name and a bunch of carbon fiber. Great engineering, but overpriced beyond belief

High power ESCs (electric speed controllers) aren't terribly expensive. And yes, they indeed are death traps.

A faster kart for a lot cheaper. I can build one using harber freight parts for about $600-1000 and it can go way faster. You’re just paying $500 for a kids power wheel with a logo slapped on.
