the idea to this is pretty simple, the gold paper in there should stick tight to the screen,the more its loose the thicker the pink line

Try replacing the whole screen And if youre not confident enough to do it urself try going to smartphone repair shop. Hope it helps!

same issue in 2019 had it for years, when I press the bottom of front facing camera a thin line apart.

Wow I have experience the same problem ,but yours is kinda better than my. The entire display goes off and one repeatedly, and makes the phone very hot to hold .

It might be 2 things, the cable connection between the display and motherboard (the cable might be loose). Or the screen itself is damaged in the top of or bottom of the screen that might explain why when he put pressure the lines they changed or disappeared. That means that there is no connection in some part of the screen between the layers. It also matters what happened to the phone before those lines appeared. Water, dust , drop, bend or overhead.

I think this is caused because of heat, when the phone stays hot for long periods of time it reduces the glue's stickiness that keeps the screen bound with the phone like when the phone is brand new there is no flex but now as you put some pressure it positions correctly maybe when replacing the screen putting a stronger glue will might help? I don't really have much knowledge about it but I do want to find a proper way to prevent it in future I had screen replacement and the phone didn't lasted more than 6 months before this problem started appearing again and now i'm looking forward to replace the screen again but I don't want to experience this issue again and For some extra smart ass people with their smart ass suggestions they should stay away I have this phone for a reason and I got many but I like to have this phone as well so I want to keep it and I did a lot of things on it some of the most coolest things you can possibly do. This can definitely be fixed but we have to look for a proper thing

i did the same to an s6 edge with the same problem..it can help for one or 2 days (it reduces the lines without actually fixing it) but after it will destroy the display even more rapidly this problem is caused by the soldering between the flex cable and the actual oled display...

My S6 Edge Plus has this. Except my lines are super thin, like 1 pixel. At first, I could press top if screen and it'd go away fir a bit. Now when I press, a few more pink lines appear and it often doesn't go away. Takes several att but seems to be getting worse. Wirth noting, my screen was replaced a few months back. Never had the pink lines before

Same here. First got small line on right side on the edged screen, so it didnt bothered me. And few months later, now i have pink line looking almoust same as hes is. And when i press the phone with finger on logo of the samsung (near front camera) its kinda going away, but need to press real hard... I really like this phone, but this is just shit. Thing that he did, acctualy help some phones, but im not good at that, so i wont play around. EDIT: After all that they expanded even more and green lines showd up as well, all still worked untill one morning when someone called me and screen was black, i can hear stuff and touch still works but black screen... S6 edge R.I.P.

I have a small pink line ... in the same place ... i watched the video and i pressed on the screen right under and on the "Samsung" logo , and now the line had vanished ... i will post if it will appear again :D

This is my biggest fear cause it happens to me but just no line (thank gosh no line) but I was calling my friend and my screen flickered a lot and then I finally restarted it and it stopped☺

I had same lime in same place the screen is not glas not Plastik... its a ultra thinn piece of foil

Main culprit in this issue is tiny capacitor . Change the fault capacitor with the help of SMD station. And the line will vanish .

I have s6 edge from 2017 and i don't have that problem.

My S7 edge has the same problem...but the line is appearing horizontally at the centre...it happened for few days...then the lower part of the screen has completely gone..it blinks a lot

Ive dropped my phone from a chair onto the floor and it was black with trillion of green lines and dots
