What I really like about this song is the dissonance it has woth all the other songs in the musical. It has more of a rock theme rather than the tribalesk all the other songs have.

Kayla Morello that’s actually why I don’t like it. It’s a great song for the hyenas sure, but at least make it feels like it belongs in the show.

This song shows how Lebo M. And the other song writers and composers for this show gave the music variety but still keeping the show to its roots. The whole show has drums but they differ in the instruments that accompany them.

I love how out of left field this style of music is in context. It really helps set the hyenas apart from the other creatures.

I got this soundtrack at home!! I love this song i forgot about it!! "When you are FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!.......................It's time to CHOW DOWN!!!" I LOVED saying those lines :D!! You know, they should have had let the hyenas from the lion king movie singing this song :D!

Apparently, its purpose is to portray the hyena's personality, compared with the singing of everyone else. Quite different and off-kilter. I'm sure that's the point of it. Those who like rock & roll don't mind this song, though (I would assume).
