This song has one of the best messages in it. No matter what happens to someone they will always live on inside of your heart. This song always got to me even as a child, it taught me to be strong and not to be weak during someone's passing because they will always be with me.

A year ago, the most important person in my life has passed away. This song reminds me of her. I long to hear her soothing voice and touch her once more and to just say that I love her. I pray that she's watching over me. I see her in everything that surrounds me. In my reflection, I see her. May she rest in peace and fly high.

Marianne Ferris I really had to pee. It was almost time for the intermission, but I couldn't wait, especially if it turned out I had to wait in line. So I got up and went. This is the only time this has ever happened to me. The usher took me to the ladies room, waited, and took me back to my seat. After we waited for the baboons to leave the aisle. That was so cool, how they used the whole theater.

Marianne Ferris That's cool, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I agree that was cool how they used the whole aisle. I am not afraid to admit this but when the Circle of Life sequence was going on, I got a little teary eyed because it took back to the time in my childhood and seeing the Lion King in theaters. It was a such an awesome show. I wouldn't mind going to see this musical again someday. :)

to be honest...i can't tell you because i do not know. I just checked it looks like it is coming back this year but it is a bit farther away. Its 69 miles away from my house. I would love to go back and see it again someday. This time go with my mom. She took me twice to see the Lion King in theaters when I was 10 years old it seems only fitting that if I see it a second time around I should go with her.

Can you imagine if this had actually played out in the original movie, and James Earl Jones (or some equally rich baritone voice) was singing it? [shivers] That's not to detract from this version, it's beautiful. I just sometimes like to think about what the movie would have been like if it were more like the musical. I feel like it would've made the film a lot richer with the added character development, and perhaps better laid the groundwork for the sequel film.

This song and its reprise are my favorite songs from all of Lion King. Something comforting and uplifting told once by a parent and then by a family friend about that parent once that parent passes ABOUT them to their son at two different points in life. The same words but two vastly different meanings. I am mad about the remake for the usual reasons people dislike remakes, but I am truly disappointed in them for not including these songs. They are too special and important to not reintroduce to a new audience.

Saw this in London last night. I can't get this song out my head. From what I'd seen, with the style of the masks etc, I didn't think I was going to enjoy this musical. I was seriously wrong. It's amazing.

I know they won't have this song in the new movie. Really short sighted I feel.

I went to see this play on Broadway a couple years ago and I remember right after the show, I wanted to go home and listen to this song again. I still love it to this day.

When I was about 7 or 8 years old, my grandmother took me to the live show in Wichita, and when this scene came I remember being annoyed and wanting to skip it because I knew Be Prepared, (which was my favorite song back then) was next, nowadays this is my favorite song and I truly wish I had fully appreciated it when I had the chance

I saw this show for the first time about a month ago in Birmingham, Alabama and it was Gerald Reyes singing it. This was my first Broadway show and it was AMAZING. I really hope to see it again hopefully with Gerlad in it again because he was so good!!
