"You can always go back" No, this is the sad part. Ladies must be careful with fillers otherwise they can look ridiculous and ugly. For example, if you fill too much your lips at certain level MD can't dissolve the fillers. You are stuck with the "duck lips"... Not funny. Sad that certain MD are accepting to do ridiculous and too big face for $$$$. They should refuse to do so even if the customer is desapointed.

Yes, the lips are a perfect example. A little bit of filler looks natural and can go unnoticed, but some people want more and more. I think the same goes for the face. A decent amount of filler can make you look some years younger, but not a 50 looking like a 20. But celebrities aim for perfection and keep getting more in hope for that eternal youth where they all look 20 years old and that’s impossible.

I just had my fillers removed around my nasal and cheeks. I finally feel like myself again and regret getting them in the first place. Even though it’s been since 2019, it hasn’t gone away and I looked puffy. I stopped taking photos of myself, so after removing, hopefully I can look normal again in my 40’s.

@@christelleleroux8245 definitely worth removing it, you’ll instantly will look like yourself again. You may have to go a couple of times to really dissolve it. I still have mine around my eyes, chin, and temples. I just wished I didn’t do my cheeks as it’ll migrate down when our skin sags. Ugh.

Thank you Dr. Karam for all of your videos. They are educational and informative and very helpful to me. I heard one lady on another channel mention how she doesn't believe your patients have the type of healing experiences that they say. I could not believe that she actually used your name when she had a horrible experience with another doctor. People don't seem to understand that people are different and medicine is not a one size fit all situation. People heal differently, no two life styles are exactly the same and all doctors are not the same either. At this point I can not think of anyone else doing anything to my face but you. Your honesty is refreshing. I've always wondered this - if someone gets their own fat or stem cells injected under the eyes or anywhere on the face, does it lead to a similar puffy/fake look that can occur with regular injections of filler? I know someone who has had her own blood drawn and I think her plasma was removed, then injected under her eyes. Does that lead to any improvements?

Dr Karam, I understand there’s been a huge uptick in the use of Sculptra and so I’m wondering if it carries the same risks? I know Sculptra is NOT a filler but, rather, a volumizer by way of collagen synthesis, but can it cause similar issues when injected over years of use, especially when it is used in a targeted way as fillers are? After severe volume and fat loss between 2019-2020 when I was 55 yrs old and I sought to replace my original look with Sculptra. As a result I had 11 vials injected over a 2 year period. I’m now realizing at age 60, however, that time does what time does and that sagging has also occurred meaning only a face lift will correct that. If I decide on a lift, however, should I wait until at least some of the volume stimulated by Sculptra goes down? (I do have a bit more volume in some areas than is normal for me). Thank you 🙏

I’ve been using fillers for acne depressions on the check area. It helps to smooth them but I’m now 61 and worried that it could cause my skin to start getting pulled downward. I’ve done 2 dermabrasion and 2 - CO2 dermabrasion. Plus have done all kinds of skincare all which have helped and I can’t imagine without these tools what might have been. Now I’m aging and need to re-address my plan. I do use the Tri-Fecta and have added the polish. It’s been working great. 👍 🎉 but I’m still wanting to address the depression’s the only thing that has ever helped is the filler. I would like an evaluation from you. I went for my chin filler in 2020 and 2021 as I have a little double chin naturally. First time I went dr.said something about swelling and I asked her if I should expect it to go down within a week or so. She said " no, it can take a 6 months but people thing the filler by then is gone".

I don’t really understand why she couldn’t do facelift? I watched recently a good mood silly movie “my big fat Greek wedding 3” and the main actress (sorry don’t remember her name) had fantastic results from facelift. You could say she had it done as the sideburns didn’t exist anymore. Unless I’m wrong and there was some Christmas miracle 😉 But seriously what a difference between facelift and recurring fillers injections.

The first time I tried fillers… honestly didn’t see the difference and mostly because I developed small lumps on my face 🥴 it took months to go away.
