I expected a travesty and tons of black humour, but it turned out to be an absolutely amazing lighthearted movie. And way, WAAAY more subtle than Decameron. Very enjoyable to watch, recommended.

I think the music in the trailer is misleading... The music in the movie was all appropriate to the 14th century setting. It's like the people who put the trailer together weren't confident that the actual vibe of the movie was appealing, so they tried to make it seem like it had some kind of modern urban vibe. But wtf, the 14th century vibe of the movie was FINE! It was a great movie.
