Agree. It looks weird. And tbh, it would have looked better if the paint was blended with her underwear. They should have at least tried to make it look more like scales and not just like someone ran over her belly with a spraycan. Especially when the doll cost as much as it does.

My thought exactly... it would also be problem for redressing or if someone wants to body swipe her with Jasmine or Pocahontas

I actually don’t mind it cause in the live action it does look like that where her skin fades into her tail. Only wish they added scale details.

@@Cand581 yes, but its not that high up and its also tinted purple/violet where her skin and tail fades together. Not this teal-ish green that the doll has. I looked at pictures from the movie trailer, the fade is pretty much where a bikini bottom ends, lower than her belly button. So when the doll has a "floating" ring the covers her belly and is pretty far from the underwear, it just looks weird. I hope a customizer like Hexian, Poppen Ateljer or Moonlight Jewel will work their magic on either this 17" version or on one of the playline versions. If I had the money to buy the doll, I would try to do it myself, but can't even afford the basic playline doll from Mattel.

She’s currently sold out in most places like USA shopdisney but some countries still have her. Do you have Disney store in Brazil? Or usually which country’s Disney store have you ever bought from that ships to Brazil?

​@@SandiKayunfair to other Disney princesses who didn't get equal treatment... for example, I know Mulan won't bring as much cash as Ariel, but if Disney invested more in merch, ofc people would pay more attention. TLM got 11 different character dolls, while Mulan got 2 & Belle got 3

@@NenadlPopovic you realize you are talking about dolls right? Inanimate objects about fictional characters. As in "not sentient beings". Say what you really mean, you can't stand that a beautiful Black woman is getting so much attention for portraying said fictional character. You don't have to like it but at the end of the day Disney is a business. They invest money into things that bring them returns on that money. They don't care about "fair" they care about what lines their pockets. These inanimate objects do not have feeling nor do the made up characters that Disney has taken from the brothers Grimm and History to sugar coat and make into happy stories for little naive boys and girls. (and apparently adults) None of the Disney fairytails have happy ending in the original stories. You are focused on the wrong thing. But of course you can only see things from a certain perspective can't you? I'm really wasting my time here aren't I? I suggest you take a good look at these actual stories and find out what they are really about. Your reaction here sounds petulant and unhinged. Have the day you deserve.
