Halle has such a warmth and graciousness. Despite everything she's faced from the day she was cast she allowed her talent and grace to speak for her. Even critics who were openly distasteful towards her are admitting she is the PERFECT Ariel! I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see her performance. She truly is the best person for the role!

I know its so overwhelming for her... I just want to give her a hug. She says in pretty much every interview that all the babies are so excited to watch but there's even more ppl than that. US 80s and 90s babies who are full grown adults cant wait to see it as well. The Little Mermaid was such a wonderful movie. I can't wait to watch it opening weekend.

I've been a fan of both Halle and her sister for so long. The minute she was cast I knew she would be perfect for the role cause throughout the time I've been a fan of her's she has always been the absolute sweetest with the cutest giggle and not to mention that voice! Also I demanded that my version of Ariel have 7 ft long neon orange pig tails. So ultimately I was recast bc I was too pretty
