Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and Awkwafina chatted with Access Hollywood's Scott Evans about starring in the highly-anticipated retelling of "The Little Mermaid." The trio applauded Halle Bailey's performance as Ariel and explained how amazing it is to be a part of something so groundbreaking. Jacob also reacted to his character Flounder's new appearance in the flick, sharing, "I couldn't imagine (Flounder) looking a different way and I think he's adorable." "The Little Mermaid" hits theaters May 26.

Just like in the original, the friendship between Flounder, Sebastian, and Scuttle is so precious and Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs, and Awkwafina did a such a great job voicing them! 😌❤️🐠🦀🕊️

Sebastian wanted to protect Ariel being a naive little girl who threw herself in a dangerous situation. He also had a job to do given that he worked for the king.

I really liked Jacob, Awkwafina, and Daveed, what a great trio, they literally have the same chemistry as Scuttle, Flounder, and Sebastian in the movie 💛❤️🤍 I also really enjoyed Scuttlebutt
