In another The Little Mermaid 2023 Live Action Movie series, we are looking at the shopDisney / Disney Store exclusive Singing Ariel Doll! Is the Disney Film Collection Dolls back?
ABOUT ME:
I’m Chaymie, a toy nerd in his early 30s with a limitless passion for toys, creativity, photography, pop culture, writing stories, and creating content.
My story started back in 2013 in Singapore when I first launched an Instagram account to share photographs of my toys and then my KZfaq channel in 2014.

I was hoping we'd get the cast of characters again. I fully expected Eric and Ursula but alas. Hoping the dolls do well so maybe we can get more dolls or a set with all the characters. Also? It's funny to me that the big toddler doll sings a large portion of the song but the Mattel and Disney Doll sings a few seconds.

Same! I hope the dolls sell very well and the movie does exceptionally well so that we will get a big pack or more merch later for the blu ray release maybe. Just like how they are still putting out new sets and dolls for Encanto now and then. I saw that toddler doll too. Love that she sings so much more. Haha the 12” girls are like - nope that’s it for us.

0:49 *"And on the back you get a little TRY ME Hole"* Humm, I'm so glad they did away with the wrist singing function, which eliminated one of the dolls elbow joints in order for the wires to go down to her wrist. Her saggy, shriveled up fins are kinda sad though. Mattel did a way better job on making her tail/fins movie accurate. 🐠🧜♀

I wonder if the singing dolls have a different song version depending on the language of the country?? I never bought one except on the US site. The dress is lovely. I think I could buy her just for this.

Could you share with us what hair treatment you followed to achieve the look at the end of the video, please?

I double boil washed the hair and run it though with a flatiron several times. :)

Ohhh, it’s poly? I haven’t got much experience with poly hair so I couldn’t tell! But thank you for letting me know! 😁 I double boil washed and then run it thru with a flat iron several times. :)

@@ChaymieCreates 😂😂no problem. Polly is used for fantasy hair color Barbie’s and Barbie extra dolls. It’s really voluminous and frizzy. It looks like rainbow high or Disney nylon right out of the box tho 😂😂. I love you and your videos so much. Thank you.❤️they make me feels less alone 🥰🥰🥰
