lil Prince is so loved. they cacoon and love on him so gently. amazing how mom grabs an arm, grany has the leg and the other has his tail. even when mom wants a brack from nursing she's so gentle but lil Prince will not allow it. absolutely beautiful to watch!!!

That Little Prince is one well loved monkey :D He's a very handsome little fellow. The monkeys are so patient, even waiting for hours to get a treat.

I wonder how long Granny was the Matriarch before getting too old her daughter took over.

There's the difference between never letting them out of arms reach vs. impy's mom. The "prince" can barely hang on to his mom, let alone could he keep up with impy for more then a second. Granted, he dies look a little younger though.

Did anyone else see the mom at the end walking across the water on that cement thing, she was drinking her own milk! I thought that was fascinating! If it like in humans the more you nurse the more milk you will produce. If that is true in monkeys as well then not only would she be quenching her own thirst but she would be making more milk for her baby. Don't know if I'd go that far, I tasted my own breast milk, disgusting! It's better than formula but still just gross.Great video Arroz!!!

Art-wise, he"s better proportioned than some of the other young monkeys. There's more stretch to his neck, allowing me to see the back curve of his spine better. He's got a sleeker torso, also, to better see how gravity affects the muscles on the side. A very good study. Thank you very much for this.

I'm only 5 minutes into this beautiful video and can see the little prince loves his mom very much, with every "kiss" he gives her!!! #obsessed

I’ve been watching Mr AM videos for a long time and I have never seen any of the monkeys lick another one, until this video, which was years ago. I guess I just haven’t paid attention or don’t notice when it happens. Also, I bet the baby monkeys are confused about humans bc they are taught to fear us but then they wait for us and take the food from humans. That has to be so confusing for them.

Also, question: was that granny getting the food directly from the driver? She had the baby prince with her? Was that for sympathy purposes? How do they establish ranks in this group anyway, do you ever witness any challenges to "move up"?

The matriarch does have a regal air about her. I think she should be named "Elizabeth", and the Little Prince "Edward". I'd bet this baby doesn't have a spec of dust between his toes. He certainly is well maintained. :) Is Granny related to them or just an avid fan? Great Video. How long did it take you to figure all this out about who's who in status??? Did you figure it out on your own? This is utterly fascinating!!
