Marisha had a fireside chat on Beacon that mentions why Liam was not involved in this Calamity. It came down to the fact that Marisha and Liam are involved in something, CR related?, else at the moment and didn't have the time to be in this one.

For Braius and his "human"-looking face yes, he's probably from a mixed ancestry. And it is known that Minotaurs can interbreed with other races in Exandria, so it's definitely possible that Braius has one parent minotaur and the other human.

@@Pixelists someone took some screenshots from the beacon upload when sam was describing braius and you can read some of his backstory so im guessing thats why he's more human looking than the traditional minotaur

Sam played Taryon Darrigton in the first campaign. He also mentioned in the cool down that his starting characters have all been influenced by Liam, but any subsequent characters he's played have been his ideas. So, he hasn't always played small characters, just his starting characters have all tended to be small.

One thing I hope doesn't happen is that people in the party start agreeing with Ludinus as a result of this memory exploration. Like Thanos in the Avengers. He can spout all the greater good BS he wants; at the end of the day he has crimes he needs to answer for. The deaths of Orym's family are inexcusable.

I interpreted the palace as a description of the way the machine can show its contents. Like a big collective mind palace where the history of Aeor - its people, its life, its ending - is kept. A memory bank containing the equivalent of cctv footage of Aeor. This could even mean that the next arc will be telling the story in brief flashes of different events. As if each "room" of this palace is a different story that we can experience and this would also be leaving a lot of space for next exploration of the palace/machine. I was also hoping that maybe we would meet FCG(?) or somebody that knows him... would be heartbraking and beautiful at the same time. And very interesting.

The gods I would say will be involved are The Lord of the Hells, The Spider Queen, The Cloaked Serpent, The Dawnfather, The Wildmother, and the Matron of Ravens.

Hey, you guys love GDQ too?! 😀 you guys got any favourite runs or shows they run? My favourite is the speed runs from the crypt! Love the horror segments. Funnily enough, both GDQ and CR have both dragged me away from some dark places I've been at in my past. Thanks for the heads up, completely forgot SGDQ is coming up. Hope you had fun at the live show, definitely one to remember- what a show even to watch as a vod 😄 edit: I have 1 hour left of calamity... holy balls its incredible, cant wait to see what brennan does 😄

I wonder if they could somehow use the soul anchor to remove or tether Delilah’s soul. We still don’t know how that bond works, like does laudna die if they remove Delilah or does Delilah’s soul need to just be intact for laudna to be alive? If the ladder is somewhat closer to correct then maybe they can remove her soul and keep the anchor close to laudna so it still keeps her alive but Delilah can’t influence laudna anymore? I don’t know but it’s definitely intriguing

Also after binging all of WWW, I can not wait for these next three episodes, even though I am entitled and impatient and want to just get back to the Bell’s Hells. I went from turning off EXU Calamity after 20 minutes, to now it is going to be the next thing I watch. Keep up the great work.

I've never understood why people think these "side quest" episodes are a bad thing!! In my opinion, they expand the lore and backstory, and i love them. Im in no hurry for this campaign to be over, and the more backstory i get, the more i like it.

Dungeons and dragons started as a collaborative game. And it became co-opted by capitalist division and divisiveness. Competition ran supreme for a long time, and I think it hurts fans and creators alike to treat this form of media that way. It is nice to see a return to collaborative storytelling and a concept of working together to build these stories.
