after 40 days it is confirmed hbsg detected in the body or not. It seems chronic condition, but need to see fully reports then I can say, it is chronic or acute. No doubt viral level is very very low. Please do these tests after 6 months once again and you can also consult with your doctor about same: 1) HBV DNA 2) HBeAg 3) HBsAg 4) HBcAb 5) ALT/AST

You need to clear hbsag (negative) to be considered to had acute or chronic to become inactive through seroconversion You need to see doctor for monitoring and treatment if needed. They will check your HBV DNA viral load to see the amount of HBV virus replication in your body. If very high you need treatment The doctors will know.

As per your report your shared, AntiHbe is < 5 IU/ml , fatty liver grade 1. also need some other test to know it is acute or not. Ask your doctor about these tests: > iGM > iGG > Anti-HBc

IGm is negative Igg is positive Anti hbc is negative

@@maryamqureshi8990 1) IGm is negative: means no hepatitis B core IgM antibodies were found. 2) IgG positive test means result indicates the person is exposed to the HBV infection in the past time. 3) Anti hbc is negative: Indicates a past or acute infection or infection gone. It seems , you had or have acute infection, but infection may or may not be longer. Do same repeated test after 6 month once again to confirm about the infection gone or not. In the mean time, do regular exercise seriously, eat more fruits, vegetables, take good sleep, eat healthy foods, avoid alcohol totally. Add Vitamin B6, B12, Folic to your diet to boost your immune. I hope you are free from this infection. Also, suggested you need to consult with your doctor about it.

if it is acute infection it may be negative, but if it is chronic then very complicated to be negative.

What is different Acute and chronic ?
