Located near Qishan, Fufeng Town had been known as “Small-sized Nevernight”. The town that was once bustling and illuminated by festival lanterns is now covered by darkness. Legend says that every time the lanterns light up, someone would be killed. Once a beautiful and lively town, now there’s only the sick and elderly living in this ruin. As night came, Wen Ning purposely lit up lanterns and a figured showed up! Just as he was about to catch it, a sword flashed blue light, creating an opportunity for it to run away. A familiar shadow flew by, Wen Ning looked up and saw his old acquaintance, Lan Sizhui. Together, they captured the mastermind behind it all and restored the peace in Fufeng.

This was awesome! I loved watching Wen Ning being a leader and Lan Sizhui fighting side by side! I was hoping to see Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan. Even hearing Wen Ning mention Wei Wuxian; "Master Wei is right, maybe spend less time on studying your family rules" made me happy, and when I saw his back image and "Wuji" playing it made me miss Wei Wuxian, Lan Zhan, and "The Untamed" and even though I watched it countless times I can't get enough of them! Really great acting, action, and suspense! ❣💚👍😍

You know what I love about Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui’s relationship aside from Uncle and Nephew? Is that they also act like brothers. Lan Sizhui is very innocently blunt, always implying how old Wen Ning is 😂. It’s their whole dynamic together in this whole thing that entertains me. Lan Sizhui DEFINITELY got his bluntness from Lan Zhan, but the innocent jabbing to how old Wen Ning is and the awkward “ah…” is from Wei Ying HAHAHAHAHA

I’m so glad that Wen Ning got to showcase his intelligence and that he got a powers upgrade/unlocked their full potential. Plus, it’s always so sweet to see Shizui/Yuan. Plus Wen Ning always correcting him to call him brother was too cute.

@@marilynyoh7951 instead of purely being a mindedness reanimated corpse, Wei Wuxian made him unique in restoring his personality and conscious thought. So, it’s likely that he first instincts from when he was human kicked in- which is to run- but then he remembers that he’s immortal/undead and far more powerful than he was alive, so that’s when he’s no longer afraid.

@@marilynyoh7951 he didn't died. They mentioned it alot of times. Why do you guys confuse?? He had an illness from the start. Wei Ying saved him many times. When he saved him from the pile of dead bodies, he wasn't died yet. Wei Ying also mentioned that time to his sister.

I felt like he is not actually "Xio zhan " who played "wei wuxian " , but a different actor wearing same clothes, the voice felt different, they only showed us his back , If it's the same actor , they would've shown us his face at least! 😂😂 still good scene !

Ning was always my favorite character in the untamed series. Seeing him now when he’s grown so much is gratifying. He’s so incredibly intelligent. He sees things differently than others which helps him understand what is going on. Understands the evil in people, but still retains his pure heart. Yuan is so sweet and being with his brother is a blessing. He’s learning so much more from him than just family rules 😝 1:20:15 Enjoyed his and yuans side story movie immensely. 😻

It is so wonderful to see Wen Ning again. He was/ is definitely one of my favorite actors of the untamed and I missed him. The movie could have been longer I wouldn’t have complained. I wished there would be an entire serial starring him. I’m sure there is enough audience who would follow, so please make that happen!

I'm so happy for the spin off. Two main side characters who are also a very important part of the drama have given a chance to have a story of their own. But I wish they had mentioned a little about the whereabouts of the two brothers.

In the original novel, Wen Ning was a boy who *stammers* but what I noticed here is that he speaks comfortably without difficulties. This spin-off was great, I love it.

No. The novel explains the change in Wen Ning's attitude, from speaking haltingly, to being slower and more certain after becoming a ghost general. The author does not miss a single explanation.

This was EPIC!!!! Wen Ning is awesome!! His previous chains made into his weapon, the timely homour with the serious face, dude, it was so INCREDIBLE!! I thought Wei Wuxian's cameo (with that ost) took my heartbeat but the sudden electric guitar bgm for Wen Ning's fight scene took away my soul!! Like all this while, it was the zither for everyone and Wen Ning gets all rock!! *chef's kiss* A very big thank you for the makers of this movie..you guys healed my emptiness after completing The Untamed series.....Love you all~

Ghost General/Wen Ning is my favorite character in the Untamed. Yu Bin is a very talented actor, that actually played so many different personalities in one part. He is so overlooked by the industry. His singing is bueatiful my favorite song so far is You. Check it out. ❤❤❤❤ to Yu Bin

La corta aparición de Wei Wuxian basto para que se hiciera la lloración ,junto con las hermosas palabras que le dijo😭,si recordamos en la serie Wei Wuxian siempre le dijo lo mucho que valía, y que no se dejara ni sintiera mal por como era ,lo cuido como un hermano mayor y ver aquí cómo Sizhui le decía que le recordaba a el Wei Wuxian 🥺, Yu Bin 👏💯✨, Zheng Fanxing👏💯✨ excelentes actores y esos visuales😅.

Esta película la vi hace un tiempo pero en inglés y no completa. Que bien poder verla ahora completa! Weng Ning siempre fue un personaje super tierno a pesar de todo. The Untamed (Mo Dao Zu Shi) merece una contunuación, es de las pocas historias que me atraparon por completo, libro, serie, manhua, el chibi series, sus ost son simplemente perfectos! Ojalá Xiao y Yibo pudieran salir como amigos sin tanto drama. Que mal todo lo que pasaron. Ellos dieron vida a LanZhan y Wei WuXian❤💚. Nos dieron vida a todos!

viendo cómo son los fans y la industria allá en china, me doy cuenta de que tomaron la mejor decisión al mantener la distancia y dejar esa amistad de lado, las shippers locas no dejan de inventar rumores de su vida privada, los fans celosos se la pasan peleando online, la competencia paga por tendencias negativas sobre ellos y a varias cuentas de bloggers para difamarlos, y las acosadoras pagan a paparazzis para seguirlos por días, felizmente nunca se ha descubierto nada escandaloso/sospechoso que manche su reputación, su popularidad sigue en los más alto porque son honestos, talentosos e inteligentes, y según los paparazzis apenas tienen una vida fuera del trabajo, espero que ambos sigan protegiendo su privacidad y carrera de la gente envidiosa y despiadada

El fanatismo también que se cargan muchos, que pena cuando se creen dueños de sus favoritos y solo los perjudican y estresan. También creo que es mejor así, pero igual da lástima que algo tan bueno como The Untamed y la amistad de ambos terminará de ese modo. @@ar1999a I'm right there with you. I watch The Untamed on Netflix all the time. Someone needs to start a petition and send it to the company asking for more Untamed. Maybe a prequel, with some of cast that died in the drama, also another sequel with our boys in it. They messed up when they didn't get actors to sign immediately for more Untamed productions. Did you know last year in a fan contest for the best Chinses drama of the year. Untamed actually won ( even though it was done years ago) that alone should of caught the attention of the company. But there was also the Chinese gov crackdown on bl series, and making men less "sissy" for a while. Oh right , I heard these rumors about WOH that really hurt me a lot because I love them boys too. This is nonsense. We know about the china's strict rules and these dramas were really finely filmed i mean they don't have that kind of scenes. These dramas are descent in a cute way. They're also loved by many of us. I don't understand why would people start doing these nonsense stuffs . Anyway, I don't care about others or anything I just want my boys happiness and more projects for them 🤧🤭

@@ar1999a me to. I've enjoyed watching the Untamed cast in their work since then. But I was shocked by The Wolf. I watched it for Darren Wang Talu, but discovered Z was in it. What a treat. He was amazing. So proud of all they have done since Untamed. But still want/need more of UT just can't help it.

Yeah... luckily this one appeared in my feed. OM gosh, I am so pleased to see this. Nothing, for me at least, has beaten the Untamed. I felt so strongly for the characters and so pleased that the spin offs are a continuation of Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui story. I really hope to see more (or is that just greedy? 😂). UK fanbase

Thank you so much been waiting patient really want see it Lan Sizhui Ayuan and his uncle wen Ning back together but still missed all the untamed casts acting together on the untamed. Sizhui and wen Ning both work together they want know what happen in the past so at the end they got tricked by prince Xiao so Lan Sizhui his uncle and him found out what happen and told Prince Xiao he l the prince from Xiao's family.the end was so sad 😢😢😢😢💔💔

It's Wen Nings theam song. Did you know that Yu Bin also did the dubbing( voice) in the movie? Wei's voice is different in Untamed and in the Wolf? But Yu took classes and got to use his real voice in both movies. He is so talented. His singing voice is truly bueatiful Right now my favorite song of his is You. I can listen to it over and over.

no one can ever break the loyalty wen ning has for wei ying..no one can ever break their bond..wen ning will never turn against wei wuxian..anyone who think that they can drive a wedge between the two is highly mistaken..the bond wei ying shares with lan zhan and with wen ning, both are unbrekeable,,that's how much strong their bond is..the trust they share..
