I always enjoy your videos Kenny. I have a 9 year old son and I hope he turns out like you. Your parents did an awesome job raising you. Keep focused on your school work at College and keep us posted on how your doing. Thanks for being such a good young man and for being a shining example of the future of America. - Stephen, Ohio

Kenny, I am retired and have been around the block a few times as far as camping ( as we called it ). You call it bushcrafting now. Trust me, you are ahead of your time for such a young age. Keep up the good work. You will be able to tackle anything in life with your ability to use common sense.

Good video,I too prefer the log cabin fire lay. I am 50 and I can remember my father wearing Wells Lamont gloves way back when I was just a little kid, they are a good product,as they say the proof is in the pudding and Wells Lamont have stood the test of time. Best wishes for you in the coming school year, hard work pays off in spades so study hard and I am sure the future will bring great rewards for you.

I underestimated how many branches you need for this. I'm sure splitting larger wood will do the trick, too, but it was still surprising. Great video, and I can't wait to try this.

Great cabin fire. Usually I start fire at the top for a longer burn cycle but this is ideal starting at bottom for a quick bed of cooking coals. Thanks for video.

Great t see a young guy who knows what he's talking about. Just one point: Polar is technically a hardwood, albeit it's one of the softer hardwoods.

I'm going to try this method next time I go camping. A bit of advice you're still young now and your knees are in fine shape but if you keep stretching them by squatting you'll have problems when you get a lot older. They'll be killing you when you go hiking/backpacking. Have you sold the pontoon boat yet?

You should try the hybrid fire. It's a mix of a log cabin and teepee fire and it burns the biggest and hottest. It's great you should look it up

I like that fire lay Kenny! I musta missed ur other vid about it. By the way... u shud fix ur cabin porch... missing a board, or maybe it broke.. either way, someone cud really hurt themselves if they didn't see it/forgot about it n stepped n there. It's an accident waiting to happen. Good vid! Good luck n school!
